Batman on Film has been posting a number of casting rumours recently regarding The Dark Knight, so heres a bit of a round up of things going on with the Batman Begins 2 casting.
First up, obviously Bale is back as Batman, Caine as Alfred, and Oldman as Gordon. No word on Morgan Freeman yet, but i think it’d be a shame if they couldn’t work him into the script somewhere! So, Joss Whedon is off Wonder Woman because of what sounds like creative differences with the studio… On one hand, a shame, on the other, it means he’s not going to have to compromise on his vision of what the story/character should be, and that can only be a good thing.
Plus, it also means he’s got a bit more spare time on his hands. Here’s an idea… Hey Joss! You remember that Ripper TV show we all want you to make?..

In a recent interview with CISN Country, Dan Aykroyd has announced that Ghostbusters 3 is a go! Unfortunately it’s all CGI, and not live action but they have convinced Murray to reprise his role as Venkman (albeit in voice only).
Shame it’s not live action, but not unsurprising as Murray has always resisted that idea. Still wicked cool news though!
