Gambit Cast in X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Taylor Kitsch Gambit, Wolverine

And according to superherohype its…Taylor Kitsch!

Nope… I’ve no idea who he is either. He’s apparently in a US show called Friday Night Lights about American Football, which (being English) would explain why I haven’t seen it. ;)

Having said that, he does look right for the role (look at the pic above, i’d say they have that pretty spot on for Gambit!) He’s apparently signed for a 3 picture deal, so he’s either going to be a major player in any upcoming X-Men movies/spin-offs… or the studio is playing it safe and can keep him around if he’s popular.

Already cast in X-Men Origins: Wolverine are Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth, Danny Huston as William Stryker, and Lynn Collins as Silver Fox.

Yeah. I had my doubts about there choice at first, having only seen clean-cut pictures of Kitch and according to me Gambit must always have that scruff. Now that I see him with a little stubble I think he is a good choice. I watched him on Friday Night Lights and he seems to be a decent actor so we shall see what the writers do with Gambit plot-wise.

It had better be good. X3 was a DISASTER.

he looks like a choice, though i haven’t seen him in anything yet. i saw the newest trailer for X-Men Origins and noticed he didn’t have gambits trademark black and red eyes~~ hopefully they do what was done in the other movies and have his eyes change when he uses his power.

also, he better have the accent! you can’t be the ragin’ cajun without the accent:D
