Yes, the man responsible for mangling pretty much every movie he touches, and screwing up any chance of a decent gaming film ever being made, said this in an interview website FEARnet:
FEARnet: Are you aware that there is a petition online, signed by 18,000 people, requesting that you stop making movies?
Uwe: Yeah, I know that. 18,000 is not enough to convince me.

Gateworld recently caught up with Stargate Atlantis co-creator Brad Wright and got a bit more info on the planned 3rd live action Stargate show, Stargate Universe.
“The idea of Stargate Universe is that it is set on a ship that was part of an Ancient experiment that was set in motion probably millions of years ago — one that they never saw to fruition, but that we can,” Wright told GateWorld exclusively. “They got busy with the whole ascension thing.”

Variety has another casting update for Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse. Adelle DeWitt, the Dollhouse’s ruthless but protective boss is being played by British actress, Olivia Williams. You may have seen as Bruce Willis’s wife in The Sixth Sense, and playing opposite Bill Murray in Rushmore. Should be a really good addition to the cast.

Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, creators and executive producers of Smallville have decided to leave the show.
“We are incredibly proud of our work on this show. We achieved what we set out to do. We never compromised our vision. We leave knowing that “Smallville” is the longest-running comic book based series of all-time.”
Without Gough and Millar, it would lead me to think Season 8 could very well be the last for Smallville. Although i suppose after 8 seasons, at some point they are going to have to reach a time …

As i posted a couple of days ago, the Joker’s been up to his old scavanger hunt tricks again… Empire managed to get some shots of one of the bags. It contained a purple/green bowling ball with a number on it, a mobile phone, and a note to say call the number on the ball… More info at Empire.
