Well, yesterday I rushed to the cinema to see the highly anticipated Wall-E, Pixars latest movie, starring the cutest robot since Johnny 5.  Once again Pixar has made a masterpiece of a movie, beautiful animation that really stuns the viewer, coupled with an immersive fast paced story that keeps you involved right until the end.  I won’t go into details of the story, as too many review sites give away plots, but I will say that his movie is worth the hype, and more.  As with all Pixar movies, a …

This just looks… oh wow… I’ve not been this excited to see a movie since those early Lord of the Rings trailers! Visually, i’d say they’ve really nailed it, and Doctor Manhattan is just an amazing bit of visual effects work! I’m loving the little touches too, like the close up of inkblots just moving on Rorschach’s mask! Happy happy geek!

Interesting little bit of news popped up on Hollywood Reporter this morning.
Michael Imperioli who played Christopher Moltisanti in the brilliant Sopranos has been cast as Detective Ray Carling in ABC US remake of ‘Life on Mars’.
I can see Imperioli doing a good job as Ray, and if it’s any indication of how the 2nd pilot is shaping up, i look forward to seeing it.
