Well, yesterday I rushed to the cinema to see the highly anticipated Wall-E, Pixars latest movie, starring the cutest robot since Johnny 5. Once again Pixar has made a masterpiece of a movie, beautiful animation that really stuns the viewer, coupled with an immersive fast paced story that keeps you involved right until the end. This just looks… oh wow… I’ve not been this excited to see a movie since those early Lord of the Rings trailers! Visually, i’d say they’ve really nailed it, and Doctor Manhattan is just an amazing bit of visual effects work! I’m loving the little touches too, like the close up of inkblots just moving on Rorschach’s mask! Happy happy geek!

Portfolio.com has confirmed in an interview with Electronic Arts chief executive John Riccitiello that EA is working on the next version of Star Wars game Knights of the Old Republic, and it will most certainly have a massively multiplayer online component to it.

Interesting little bit of news popped up on Hollywood Reporter this morning.
Michael Imperioli who played Christopher Moltisanti in the brilliant Sopranos has been cast as Detective Ray Carling in ABC US remake of ‘Life on Mars’.
I can see Imperioli doing a good job as Ray, and if it’s any indication of how the 2nd pilot is shaping up, i look forward to seeing it.
