Personally i thing Blizzard have invented some sort of hypnotic packaging that makes it impossible for an exWoW player to walk into a gaming retail outlet and not walk out with a copy of Wrath of the Lich King…

Yep. I know the feeling. I was on the WoW-wagon for nearly two years. Clean. Aside from a brief MMO relapse with LotRO I was doing well, the rehab was working.
Then I saw the packaging in the supermarket. I went in to buy some fruit and veg, that was all!! There should be a law. Or maybe I need some better willpower..
well, played WoW every hour, every day for 2 years. Found out it took up too much time. All my friends play, I see them play every day, but I am never thinking of going back. Never thinking about it, even though I say all the time that I would rather play Lich then TBC, I will never pick up WoW again. Not a bad game, just takes up too much time, so it’s not worth it. I mean, all my friends playing WoW have amounted to nothing. They do nothing else but play WoW, it’s really sad…
I have another friend who thinks likewise. We were the 2 top rogues on our server, I just logged off and never went back. and I love it, too much time wasted, too much time.. for what?
Warhammer is a much better game. Makes me sad when a game can succeed from reputation and fond memories even when a better featured competitor hits the market….just goes to confirm that we’re all stuck with WoW until Blizzard decide to sabotage their cash-cow with a sequel.
