Geektown Awards: Winner – Most Anticipated Movie of 2014

We’ve already seen which movies you liked last year, but what are you looking forward to seeing on the big screen in the next 12 months… Let’s see what you voted for!

5th place goes to RoboCop  – a reboot of the franchise starring The Killing’s Joel Kinnaman. 4th place goes to The LEGO Movie – It’s LEGO in a feature length movie, and has Will Arnett voicing Batman, what’s not to love! 3rd place is taken by 300: Rise of an Empire which sees Strike Back’s Sullivan Stapleton don… well, not much… as Themistocles in the follow up to the 2007 original movie. 2nd place is taken by Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which sees the Capt return for his second solo movie outing, but the first place goes too…

Winner: X-Men: Days of Future Past

Bringing together the cast of the young and old X-Men, and sees the return of Bryan Singer to the directing chair. The film sees Wolverine’s consciousness is sent back into his younger self to help change events in past to save the future of the mutants. The film is released in the UK on the 22nd May 2014.
