As you may have heard, there is a ‘spin-off’ from The Walking Dead coming in the US soon called FEAR THE WALKING DEAD… As if you needed to be told that… I mean it’s not like people are going “awww… what a cute zombie… sure I’ll let you eat my BRAIINNNSS…”
Anyway, as you can tell from the short clip, the show will be set at the start the zombie apocalypse and takes place in Los Angeles, a long way from Rick and his merry band, and follows a family trying to. It stars Kim Dickens (Gone Girl, Sons of Anarchy) as Nancy Tompkins, a school guidance counsellor, Cliff Curtis (Missing, Gang Related) as teacher Sean Cabrera, with Frank Dillane (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) and Alycia Debnam Carey (Into the Storm) playing Nancy’s kids.
It’s due to hit AMC in the US this Summer with a 2nd season next year. No news on a UK air date yet, but you have to assume that Fox will be going after it!
