Today Sky announced that the 3rd season of Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon’s ‘The Trip‘ will be coming to Sky Atlantic.

The Trip to Spain sees Steve and Rob’s fictionalised characters back on their culinary quest as they head off on a road trip from the North Atlantic to the Mediterranean coast for a fresh helping of gastronomic adventures. Filming later this year, The Trip to Spain is a journey of food, fun and frivolity – and, of course, plenty of impersonations.

“Having thought long and hard about yet another sojourn into culinary distractions and middle age, I have reluctantly agreed to Eviva Espana. I have a hole in my diary, there will be free food and accommodation and Rob Brydon is surprisingly good company. I also like Michael” said Steve.

This is the 3rd outing for Steve and Rob in the series created and directed by Michael Winterbottom, having previously toured northern England and Italy.

If you can’t wait for the Trip to arrive later this year, you can catch Steve in Alan Partridge’s Mid Morning Matters tomorrow night (16th Feb) on Sky Atlantic at 10pm.
