On this week’s show, we not only do we have the triumphant return of Chris to Geektown, but also an interview with a legend of TV & film – Rutger Hauer.
Mr. Hauer is of course best know as the replicant Roy in Blade Runner, but you may have seen him more recently in True Blood as Niall Brigant, faerie grandfather to Sookie. He’s appeared in hundreds of movies and tv shows including Galavant, Batman Begins, and the Buffy The Vampire Slayer Movie.
He came on to talk to us about a new project – his very first audio drama called Alien: Out of the Shadows. Set between Alien and Aliens, Alien: Out of the Shadows takes place aboard the mining freighter, the MARION, which discovers RIPLEY aboard her shuttle/lifeboat NARCISSUS. Seemingly there to help, but ASH, the MARION’s on board computer voiced by Mr. Hauer, has a secret mission of it’s own…
