American Gothic follow the story of a well-off Boston family, who discover that someone in their family may have a link to a string of grizzly murders… The show stars Justin Chatwin (War of the Worlds, Shameless US), Megan Ketch (Jane The Virgin), Antony Starr (Banshee), Virginia Madsen (Witches of East End, Hell On Wheels), Elliot Knight (Once Upon A Time) and Defiance’s Stephanie Leonidas.

The show will are on Amazon Prime in the UK on the 23rd June, with new episodes added weekly every Thursday, extremely close to the US broadcast.

BrainDead is a comic-thriller set in the world of Washington, D.C. politics that follows Laurel (Mary Elizabeth Winstead – 10 Cloverfield Lane, The Returned), a young, fresh-faced Hill staffer who discovers two things: the government has stopped working, and bugs are eating the brains of Congress members and Hill staffers. The show is created by The Good Wife’s Robert and Michelle King.

BrainDead is available to watch on Amazon Prime right now, with new episodes being added every Tuesday.

Armando Nunez, president & CEO, CBS Global Distribution Group said of the acquisition, “Four year ago, CBS created a new genre of event summer programming with buzzy, serialised shows that have scored a lot attention in both the U.S. and around the world. American Gothic and BrainDead are the newest additions and will bring more uniquely entertaining, high-concept stories to Amazon Prime members in the U.K.”

This deal is the first to land from the LA Screenings, where US tv networks set out their stall to sell shows internationally. Expect more to come in the following weeks.
