Anton Yelchin, Kelsey Grammer, Ron Perlman Voice Guillermo del Toro ‘Trollhunters’ Animated Series For Netflix
Guillermo del Toro has found the cast for his upcoming Trollhunters Animated Series on Netflix Geektown has learnt.
The Oscar nominated and BAFTA winning director has cast Star Trek’s Anton Yelchin, Frasier’s Kelsey Grammer, and Hellboy himself, Ron Perlman to provide voices for his new project about the battle between good and evil trolls.
Set in the fictional suburb of Arcadia, Jim (voiced by Yelchin) and his 2 best friends make a startling discovery that the world beneath their hometown is as vast and mind-blowing as anything on the surface. Under the town they find a battle is raging between good & evil trolls, the outcome of which will impact their lives forever…
Anton Yelchin is best know for his role as Chekov in JJ Abrams rebooted Star Trek franchise, whilst Kelsey Grammer is no stranger to voice acting, having let his vocal talents to The Simpsons as Sideshow Bob for many years. Ron Perlman is probably best know as Hellboy, but this is also not his first rodeo doing animated work, having voiced Clayface in Batman: The Animated Series Killer Croc in The Batman, Deathstroke in Teen Titans, The Lich in Adventure Time. and The Stabbington Brothers in Disney’s Tangled.
Guillermo del Toro’s Trollhunters is due to land on Netflix in December 2016.
