Game Of Thrones ‘Battle Of The Bastards’ Crashes HBO Now in the US!

As we know, Game Of Thrones is popular. Very popular… Unfortunately for a number of US viewers who rely on the HBO Now app, it was so popular last night that the streaming service died due to overwhelming demand, just as the episode was about to start…

It would appear that the app booted out more than 15k people leaving them to voice their anger on Twitter and Facebook. HBO did manage to get the service back up and running just after 10pm.

‘Battle Of The Bastards’ is the penultimate episode of the series, and sees Jon Snow and his rag-tag band of warriors & wildlings battle the dastardly Roose Bolton’s massive army, and try to reclaim Winterfell. As has become somewhat of a tradition with GoT, the penultimate episode of the series tends to be one of the most bloody, and last nights was no exception. Not only do we see the two Bastard’s of Westeros do battle, but we also get to see Daenerys respond to the attack on Meereen… I’m not going to spoil anything here, but you HAVE to watch tonights episode if you haven’t caught it already!

You can watch Game Of Thrones ‘Battle Of The Bastards’ on Sky Atlantic tonight at 9pm, followed by the excellent Thronecast, or via Sky On Demand right now.
