This week we have a very special show for you. We have a long chat with the man behind the music not only for Joss Whedon’s brilliant Firefly tv series, but also the composer of the soundtracks for Naughty Dog’s Uncharted video games, Greg Edmonson.

Greg moved to LA as a session guitar player, before landing a scoring job with animation company Hanna Barbera. From there he moved on to working with Hollywood uber-composer, the multiple Emmy-winner Mike Post. He is the man responsible for many of the the tv themes we know and love, including The A-Team, Magnum, P.I., NYPD Blue, Hill Street Blues, and The Rockford Files. After leaving Mike’s wing, Greg worked on Mike Judge’s long-running animated series, King of the Hill, before coming to a little sci-fi series from Joss Whedon… Firefly. Following that, he moved on to work on the first 3 of the hugely successful Uncharted video games.

The Firefly Soundtrack is available right now on exclusive vinyl, on CD and on MP3.

In this week’s show:

  • For one week only, Adam returns to the show for catch up on his adventures, and chat about the latest tv shows we’ve been watching and games we’ve been playing.
