Universal Channel UK have picked up a new medical drama with a twist it has been confirmed today.
Pure Genius is a described as a medical drama with a difference. Stars Augustus Prew (The Borgias, Kick-Ass 2) as James Bell, a billionaire tech genius who sets up a hospital to work at the cutting edge of medicine. To help with this endeavour, he recruits Walter Wallace (Dermot Mulroney – Shameless US, New Girl) a surgeon with a controversial past, who might not only help patients, but help cure Bell himself.
This is an early call by Universal, as the show doesn’t start airing on CBS in the US until 27th October 2016. Pure Genius will air on Universal Channel UK 16th November 2016 at 9pm
