A new trailer has landed of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story today, and it’s got a lot of sweet new footage!
In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
Set between Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope, the film stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, daughter of Galen Erso (Mads Mikkelsen), the man being forced to work on development of the Empire’s new superweapon. Jyn is recruited by the Rebellion to help steal the plans, so Luke and his friends can destroy the Death Star. Joining her are Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker), Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed), K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), Chirrut Îmwe (Donnie Yen) and Cassian Andor (Diego Luna).
