She goes on to thank fans for watching, and how she looks forward to sharing the 5th and final season with them.
The Canadian supernatural medical drama stars Durance as Dr. Alex Reid, and Stargate’s Michael Shanks as her fiancé, Dr. Charles Harris. Harris stars the show in a coma, however we see him wandering the halls of the hospital in a spirit form, unsure if he’s a ghost or a figment of his own imagination. By the end of season 1, he wakes up, but is left with the ability to see the spirits of comatose and dead patients.
“Saving Hope is a series that has resonated with viewers since it first premiered in 2012, and we’re honoured to deliver an emotionally charged and beautifully crafted final season,” commented Corrie Coe, Senior Vice-President, Independent Production, Bell Media. “To have been involved with this series is a true pleasure. We want to thank our phenomenal cast and production partners ICF Films and eOne for five incredible seasons, as well as Morwyn Brebner and Malcolm MacRury who started us on this journey, and Adam Pettle who has brilliantly overseen the last two seasons.”
Season 4 of Saving Hope is currently airing Tuesday nights at 9pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
