Black Sails final 4th season with air less than 24 hours after it’s US premiere in UK, Amazon Prime Video have announced. The show will land on the streaming service on Monday 30th January 2017 (we think around 8am), just hours after it is broadcast on Starz in the US.
Set in 1715, the pirate drama stars Toby Stephens (Die Another Day, Strike Back, Robin Hood), as Captain Flint, one of the most notorious pirate captains in history. Created by Jon Steinberg and Robert Levine and designed as a prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Treasure Island, the show follows the adventures of Flint and his crew and their bloody rampage across the Bahamas.
The 10-episode 4th season of the high seas drama brings fans to the heroic conclusion of the show, and finds our pirates at war in the West Indies. The shores of New Providence Island have never been bloodier, but the closer civilization comes to defeat, the more desperately, and destructively, it will fight back.
Black Sails season 4 streams onto Amazon Prime Video, Monday 30th January 2017. For those of you watching on the History Channel UK, you will probably have to wait till 2018 for the final season. Season 3 due to arrive there in Spring/Summer 2017.
