Merry Christmas & Happy New Year To Everyone!
As it’s now Christmas Eve Eve, things will slow down a bit on the site whilst we’re off on Christmas break. We will still be updating the uk air date info as things come in, but I just wanted to drop a quick post to say THANK YOU to everyone who’s visited the site and downloaded the podcast this year. And thank you to everyone who comes onto the UK Air Dates page and leaves comment and updates on shows. This job would be so much harder without your input!
I also wanted to say thank you to all the incredible people that have helped on the site and the Geektown Radio podcast this year. Mike, Ross, Matt, Amanda, Bex, Sophie, and Canada Mike, thank you for everything. And a huge special thanks to our TV editor Andrew, who also joined the podcasting team this year. Your support over the last 12 months has been invaluable.
2016 has been a crazy year! What with reality show stars becoming president, Brexit, and the loss of a seemingly endless stream of iconic stars, I’m hoping things calm down a bit in 2017! On a more personal note, 2016 was the year I finally felt confident enough to give up my day job, and run Geektown as a full time profession. That wouldn’t have been possible without the support of you, our discerning visitors. So, from the bottom of my heart, I want to say THANK YOU to all of you for making that possible.
Also don’t forget – THE GEEKTOWN AWARDS runs right up till the 31st December, so if you haven’t entered to be in with a chance of winning the £500 prize, there is still time!
