OMG OMG OMG… It’s here! The first official footage of Star Wars: The Last Jedi has arrived!
After a packed panel at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando this morning, writer/director Rian Johnson introduced the first look at episode 8.
We see Daisy Ridley return as Rey, looking like she might be getting some training from Luke Skywalker himself.
Other notable things…
Vader’s mask has been smashed. On closer inspection, looks like that might actually be Kylo Ren’s mask smashed… What’s the betting he did it in a fit of rage. It’s not like he needs it now we know who he is anyway.
Finn appears to be in some sort of pod, sleeping on the job.
Poe’s X-Wing getting all explody. That guy doesn’t have the best of luck reaching spaceships!
Looks like we’re getting another walker battle, with the Resistance flying some things that look like podracers spliced with crop dusters.
Some big space battles, and the A-Wings are back!
And we get to hear Luke speak… Although what he has to say, might not fill those on the light side with confidence… “It’s time for the Jedi to end…”
They also dropped this extremely cool looking poster!
Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives in cinemas on 15th December 2017.
