‘Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders’ Cancelled After 2 Seasons

Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders won’t be returning when it’s current season ends, US network CBS announced last night.

The drama followed a specialised International Division of the FBI tasked with solving crimes and coming to the rescue of Americans who find themselves in danger while abroad. Heading the International Response Unit was Unit Chief Jack Garrett, played by Gary Sinise (CSI: NY), who was joined by Alana de la Garza, Daniel Henney, Tyler James Williams and Annie Funke.

Beyond Borders’ got off to sluggish start last year. CBS gave it a shot with a 2nd season, but it still failed to make in-roads, so the cancellation was largely expected. The main ‘Criminal Minds’ show was renewed for a 13th season this week.

The 2nd and last season of ‘Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders‘ is currently airing on W (the channel formerly known as Watch) in the UK.
