Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes return, in a brand new promo for Season 9 of ‘Will & Grace‘.
The extended trailer for the US sitcom about gay lawyer Will, and his straight best friend Grace, starts with Eric & Debra leaving the office of NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt, saying how excited they are to be back… Well, Eric is. Debra… not so sure…
In an attempt to change her mind, Eric leads Debra to the set of their old ‘Will & Grace’ apartment, where they meet a few old friends… Then things start to get weird… and musical!
Creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan have returned for this 12 episode series, along with director James Burrows, who incredibly, helmed every episode of the original run! This may not be the end either. When asked yesterday by the press if the run could be extended, Greenblatt commented “It’s possible… It’s my hope that we will have more than that.” There are also rumours of adding a Christmas episode on top of the 12 already ordered.
Whilst this new season of ‘Will & Grace‘ doesn’t technically have a confirmed UK channel, all previous 8 seasons aired on Channel 4, so I think there is a good chance we may see it return to the broadcaster.
