As we head closer to the launch of The Dark Knight, the Batman viral machine (that does sound like something you’d find in the batcave) kicks off again with an update to the Gotham Times website.

I’m thinking it’s probably worth keeping an eye on this site over the next few days too…

Well this has to been on of the geekiest inventions I’ve found recently! Designer Erik De Nijs has created trousers that double as a keyboard!.. Just don’t try any old school gaming on it… Daly Thompson’s Decathlon could be really rather painful!

Johnny Lee is a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University, and has been doing some pretty incredible work using a standard Wii Remote controller, a few dollars worth of electronic equipment, and a whole lot of genius! The video above shows him demoing a couple of his projects at TED (the Technology, Entertainment, Design Conference).

The folk over at AICN got an email with the subject “New Dark Knight Trailer 3″…
It contained a link to clowntravelagency.com claiming a ‘departure date’ of 1st April… So, is this real? Is it more twisted viral marketing from the Batman marketeers? Or, is it someone’s elaborate april fools?..Who knows!
Check back tomorrow, same bat time, same bat channel!
UPDATE: Looks like it’s another of the Joker’s scavenger hunts, but worldwide this time! The only 2 locations in the UK, and both were London, so kinda scuppered my chances, there …

Spotted this on Scott Johnson’s MyExtraLife blog (great comics and podcasts, I don’t know where he finds the time!) . Thought it was worth a repost over here at Geektown.  It’s a band called missFlag covering the fantastic ‘Still Alive’ from Portal (if you still haven’t played it, shame on you!). You can get an mp3 of it free from their site here.
