I picked this up from Scott Johnson’s Extralife blog, but i thought it deserved reposting here due to it’s awesomeness… An alarm clock that wakes you up with the smell and sizzle of cooking bacon!..
(Check out Scott’s ELR and Warcraft podcasts, which are also awesome, if less bacony.)

Saturday morning silliness… Reason To Take a Tee When Golfing Off A Mountain No. 143.
I meant to post about this over the weekend, as it was online online offically for a limited time, but all 3 acts of Joss Whedon’s ‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog‘ went live last week.
‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog’ was penned during the WGA strike by Joss, his brothers Jed and Zack, and Jed’s fiancée Maurissa Tancharoen. It’s 40mins of singing goofyness, following the tale of Dr. Horrible, his arch nemesis Captain Hammer, and Penny the object of Horrible’s affection.
Dr. Horrible is played by Neil Patrick Harris (Barney from How I Met Your Mother, and of course Doogie in Doogie Howser, M.D.).
Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Serenity) plays Captain Hammer, the rather smug superhero who spends his time beating down Horrible.
Felicia Day (Vi on Buffy the Vampire Slayer) plays the love interest, Penny.
For those wishing to see its gone from the main site, it’s on iTunes… in the US… thanks for that (really helpful to us non US people…)
So if your one of our many UK readers, you might want to try here for Act One:

Okay okay… I promised myself i wouldn’t post any April 1st gags, but Blizzard do it so well, and this was just laugh out loud funny. Full site at worldofwarcraft.com/moltencore/ even with a trailer!
They’re also showcasing their new Bard Hero Class, which given the recent merger with Activision, is just genius!
Yeh, I know, i’m a day late for a Valentines Day post, but i thought this was a good enough mix of geeky and sweet to post. Jon proposing to Loretta in icanhascheezburger.com‘s very first LOL Cats proposal!

Whole photo story is here, including Lorettas’ LOL Cats reply. Ahhh
This is one of the funniest things i’ve seen in a while. Star Wars with what can only be described as engrish subtitles. I won’t give it away, but I love what ‘NOOOOOOO’ translated into… Pure Genius!
Jeremy in Hong Kong explains:
“I saw revenge of the sith last weekend at a local theater with my friend joe who was in town on business. it was much better than the first two movies and a fitting end (err.. middle) to the star wars saga.
the next day i was walking past my friendly dvd salesperson and decided to check out revenge of the sith. i was assured the quality was good and for 7rmb why not give it a shot…”
