Buffy The Vampire Slayer MMORPG Announced!
Some interesting news for Whedon fans over at massively.com… Multiverse announced at the Virtual Worlds Conference in Los Angeles that they are developing a Buffy the Vampire Slayer MMORPG!
Multiverse were also developing a Firefly MMO, however that’s been delayed…

I meant to post about this over the weekend, as it was online online offically for a limited time, but all 3 acts of Joss Whedon’s ‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog‘ went live last week.
‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog’ was penned during the WGA strike by Joss, his brothers Jed and Zack, and Jed’s fiancée Maurissa Tancharoen. It’s 40mins of singing goofyness, following the tale of Dr. Horrible, his arch nemesis Captain Hammer, and Penny the object of Horrible’s affection.

Much as it’d be entertaining to see a huge rumble between The Operative, Jean Luc and Gandalf… (or The Operative, Proffesor X and Magneto for that matter…) Really, this post was to say congratulations to Chiwetel Ejiofor for beating both Ian McKellen’s King Lear, and Patrick Stewart’s Macbeth in the Olivier Awards this weekend!
Chiwetel Ejiofor, who played The Operative in Joss Whedon’s Serenity beat 2 of the uk’s thepiest of thespian’s to take the Best Actor Olivier for his performance in Othello at the Donmar Warehouse in London.

The guys over a Moviehole were recently chatting to Alan “Wash” Tudyk, when he happen to mention there had been some talk of making a sequel to the excellent Serenity (the movie spin off from Joss Whedon’s awesome Firefly tv show). Apparently the DVD has been selling so well that it’s sparked Universal’s interest in making a new film. Tudyk says “Everybody in the Firefly crew – and that includes the ones who died in the movie – are excited about the prospect of doing another”.
I’d absolutely love to see …
