Halo 3, maybe the best reason to buy an Xbox 360!

Well, I’m not the biggest Microsoft fan, but I did enjoy the Halo games.  I felt the ideas and gameplay were unique and fun.

And now with the final game being released on the 360 in 2007, I find myself in a dilemma… to buy, or to not buy a 360!

The trailers for this game look amazing, and the soundtrack is outstanding!

Will I buy one?… probably… maybe… we’ll see

Well, as I’m sure you are aware, the admins of this site are all completely addicted to World Of Warcraft.  Now, this is the time of year when people are looking forward to opening presents, roast turkey and family time…  Not us!  We are desperatly hoping this time passes really REALLY quickly so we can get our shivering with anticipation hands on the first official expansion of WOW, The Burning Crusade.

2 new species, new zones, new mounts, new items… the lists go on.  I’ve been wanting this release since it was originally announced, and now its so close it hurts!

Wii here in just a few short days!

Well, I’m sure there are many people simply counting the days until friday now, with the official UK release of the Wii.  I’ve got mine preordered, and am looking forward to actually making use of my stupid erratic arm movements when playing a game!

I doubt it will be the revolution in gaming that the PS3 will be, but it’ll have some fun gimics, including fishing from your comfy seat at home!

Once I’ve had enough time to weigh it up, I’ll post a review of the console and allow you all to see what I think.  My only major worry is that controller coming lose and smashing something, least of all smashing me in the face!

Nice SimCity 4 trailer. I could spend hours in SC3, building up cities and small villages… then destroying them with gleeful abandon… ahhh… memories… :D
