6. The Bioware MMO

Okay, so no one actually knows what the hell this is… We’ve talked on the site a number of times about this possibly being a Knights of the Old Republic MMO. The other thought is it could be a Star Wars MMO set around the Clone Wars , which would make sense as well, given there is a new cartoon series launching later this year based in that timeframe. Or, of course, it may not be a Star Wars MMO at all. Maybe a Mass Effect MMO? …

Okay, this is a rumour that’s been around ever since Bioware announced they were getting into the MMO business. However, it’s recently resurfaced and is rampaging through the gaming community like a stampeding Bantha.
The question is of course:
Are Bioware making a Knights of the Old Republic MMORPG?
The latest rumour to stoke the KotOR MMO fire is a press release from LucasArts today claiming “LucasArts and BioWare Corp. to Create Ground-Breaking Interactive Entertainment Product”. The game “…will push the boundaries of the gaming market by utilizing the strengths of both companies …
