New Movie Limitless Get It’s UK Trailer

There’s a new film coming to the UK called Limitless, starring Bradley Cooper (The Hangover, The A Team) and Robert De Niro (…like i really need to list things De Niro has starred in!). Limitless is a paranoia-fueled action thriller about an unsuccessful writer whose life is transformed by an experimental drug named NZT, that allows him to use 100% of his mind and become a perfect version of himself. His enhanced abilities soon attract shadowy forces that threaten his new life in this darkly comic and provocative film… Does look like an interesting idea. A little bit sci-fi, with elements of super powers. Should be a film to watch out for when it releases in the UK on March 23rd 2011.

They’ve also got this rather entertaining viral site promoting the NZT drug, which you can find at www.theclearpill.co.uk, along with the usual social media stuff on Twitter and Facebook.

Green Lantern Synopsis:

Bringing the enduringly popular superhero to the big screen for the first time, “Green Lantern” stars Ryan Reynolds (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”) in the title role, under the direction of Martin Campbell (“Casino Royale”).

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.

Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

As we wave a sad farewell to David Tennant after this evening’s Doctor Who ‘End of Time – Part 2′, we say hello to the eleventh Doctor – Matt Smith. The BBC have just released this frankly awesome looking trailer for Matt’s first outing, due Spring 2010! Much as i’m sorry to see David go, i’m looking forward to Who taking a new direction with its new lead and new show runner in Steven Moffat. I’ll reserve proper judgement till i see series 5 of Doctor Who in full, but looking at this, i think we’re in safe hands!

The Wolfman

The Wolfman in UK cinemas February 12

Lot’s of stuff for the The Wolfman (due in UK cinemas February 12) appearing on the web today and we have this great trailer!

The Wolfman stars Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro as Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father (Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins), Talbot sets out to find his brother… and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself.

Lawrence Talbot’s childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brothers fiance, Gwen Conliffe (Emily Blunt), tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline (Hugo Weaving) has come to investigate.

As he pieces together the gory puzzle, he hears of an ancient curse that turns the afflicted into werewolves when the moon is full. Now, if he has any chance at ending the slaughter and protecting the woman he has grown to love, Talbot must destroy the vicious creature in the woods surrounding Blackmoor. But as he hunts for the nightmarish beast, a simple man with a tortured past will uncover a primal side to himself one he never imagined existed.

Iron Man: Armored Adventures Trailer

Iron Man: Armored Adventures sees ‘an alternate reality take’ on Iron-Man, with a teenage Tony Stark taking the starring role in this animated series. It’s ‘a show for younger audiences and not necessarily the hardcore comic fan’ says writer Christopher Yost. Looks like perfectly good ‘saturday morning cartoon’ style fun to me. :)
