FiveUSA have just finished running season 1, and Justified season 2 is starting in April.

Jennifer Beals (Flashdance, Lie To Me) stars as a hard-nosed Chicago cop in this brand new gritty police drama from The Shield creator Shawn Ryan. Previously know as ‘Ride-a-Long’. Was set for Jan, then Feb, now it’s totally dropped off Sky1’s radar. Rumor is it’s now airing in May.

How I Met Your Mother, Season 6 (continued) – E4 – 12th May 2011 at 9.30pm

E4 stopped season 4 to allow the US to get ahead a bit more. They said it’d be back in May, but after E4 fed that date into their new Schedulemaster 3000™ it vetoed it, moved it to June, and decided to show Big Bang reruns instead…

The new Steven Spielberg produced sci-fi tv show starring Noah Wilde as a history teacher called Tom Mason who leads a group of survivors after the world is shaken by an alien invasion.

Nurse Jackie, Season 3 – Sky Atlantic – 5th July at 10pm.
Season 3 has jumped from the Beeb to Sky…

The Killing (US), Season 1 – Channel 4 – 7th July 2011 (TBC)
The series follows a police investigation and the grieving family and the suspects after the homicide of a young girl.

Law and Order, Season 20 (final season) – Sky1 – 7th July 2011 at 11pm.
Final season airs on Sky1.

Teen Wolf, Season 1 – Sky Living – 7th July 2011 at 8pm
A brand new drama sinks it teeth into Sky Living

Franklin & Bash, Season 1 – E4 – 13th July at 9pm.
After two streetwise lawyers take down a stuffy law firm, they are recruited by the head of the firm to bring new life to the work place. Torchwood: Miracle Day (aka Series 4) – BBC1 – 14th July 2011 at 9pm (Confirmed)
Will air in the US on the Starz network (who co-funded this series) on 8th July… Thanks to the BBC for causing so much confusion over the air date, they’ve now recanted, and confirmed the air date is in actual fact the 14th! Why they didn’t just tell us that at the same time as Starz announcing their air date is any ones guess! – More info.

Was on Bravo, but is caught up in the Sky buyout, and is now finally back on air, on 5USA. The Sons of Anarchy Season 3 DVD is due out on October 10th 2011.

David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith comedy starring Paul Iacono.

August 2011

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena – Sky1 – 1st August at 10pm.
Now Spartacus: Blood and Sand has ended, Sky1 are repeating Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, the prequel made to fill the extended production break while they waited to see if Andy Whitfield would be able to return for season 2 (Andy is apparently fairing much better, but unfortunately isn’t up to returning as Spartacus, so the role has gone to Liam McIntyre for Spartacus: Vengeance). Gods of the Arena focus’s Crixus, and the previous champion, Gannicus (who *small spoiler* is back in Vengeance *end small spoiler*).

Trollied, Season 1 – Sky1 – 4th August at 9pm.
New original comedy set in a fictional budget supermarket in the north west of England, from the team behind Shameless starring  Mark Addy (Game of Thrones, The Full Monty) & Jane Horrocks (Absolutely Fabulous, Little Voice).

Warehouse 13, Season 3 – SyFy UK – 4th August 2011 at 9pm.
Confirmed – Warehouse 13 is back in Aug.

The Borgias, Season 1 – Sky Atlantic – 13th August 2011 at 9pm.
Now starting a week later, but with a double bill. Drama in the style of The Tudors set in Italy’s Renaissance era with Jeremy Irons.

DVD release date for the Burn Notice Season 4 DVD is set as Jan 30th 2012.

Richard Armitage is back as John Porter for a series 2 of Strike Back (albeit probably quite briefly as he’s currently in NZ being head dwarf for The Hobbit.)

Fringe, Season 4 – Sky1 – 28th September  2011 at 10pm
Sky have said Fringe will air close to the US (back on Sept 23rd 2011). That means it airs with a big break in the middle too, but we can’t have it both ways… Either wait, or have it close to the US and suffer their schizophrenic scheduling (it’ll break in Nov, and come back March 2012).

Ringer, Season 1 – Sky Living – 29th September 2011 at 8pm
New show starring Buffy’s Sarah Michelle Gellar as Bridget, a woman who steals her identical twin’s ‘idyllic’ life whilst on the run for mob, only to discover her sister’s life isn’t quite all it appears…

October 2011

Merlin, Series 4 – BBC1 – Saturday 1st October 2011 at 7.50pm
The season has been extended from 10 to 13 episodes. According to Merlin star Colin Morgan, it’ll be back in the Autumn (should replace Doctor Who).

In an effort to save the human race from a dying Earth, scientists develop a portal allowing travel 85 million years back in time to the prehistoric era. Stars Jason O’Mara (Life on Mars – US), Stephen Lang (Avatar), and showrunner is Brannon Braga (Star Trek:TNG, Voyager & Enterprise, 24 and FlashForward. Steven Spielberg is exec producer. Airs in the US on FOX on the 26th Sept and on Sky1 a few days after.

Airs October 3rd in the US, and Sky have confirmed it’s back in October in the UK too. First episode is called ‘ Twenty Vicodin’.

Returns to Sky Living with the episode ‘It Takes A Village’.

Boardwalk Empire, Season 2 – Sky Atlantic – 8th October 2011 9pm
