TIPS FOR POSTING It is always extremely helpful when people post dates, times and information below. It is useful in keeping the list as current as possible and makes for a great community spirit. But when posting, please remember the following:

1) Use full programme titles. As instantly recognisable as abbreviations may be to someone who watches that show, to someone who doesn’t, it is just a meaningless collection of letters that have to be looked up.

2) If a bit of information is a rumour, please say so – we can list it as such, pending confirmation

3) If something comes from a reputable source, please quote that source, so we all know it is not just a rumour.

Thank you.

Do any programmes on Amazon get secondary viewing on TV channels as Netflix do. I am thinking mainly about Bosch as I have read all the books. I am not paying Amazon for the DVDs as it’s extortionate.

  8. Alan says:

I see that there is a Season 2 of Quantico being aired in the US starting September. Any news of it coming to UK?

    • Andrew Andrew says:

None yet. Most of the US shows begin around September due to the rigid network schedules which don’t necessarily follow here.

Season 1 began in March so I’ve listed season 2 as early 2017 for now, until there’s more information. It might be sooner.

  9. Miss S Dowie says:

Hello, . I’m not a happy person who can’t afford Sky as you have taken a great show called NASHVILLE after watching it on E4 and then you nicked it Sky Living 🙁

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

      Hi Sue,

I understand your frustration, but it wasn’t us. 😉

The people to get angry at really are channel 4. They couldn’t find a way to make it work for them, so they dropped it. Sky didn’t steal it. No one was going to air it so they picked it up. It’s unfortunate, but that’s the way it sometimes happens. If you want a cheap alternative to sky, take a look at a Now tv box. Sky content at a fraction of the price. 🙂

      Best wishes
      Dave

Nope, your eyesight is fine. They aren’t in the list above, but they are in the A to Z list. All due in January 2017, hence them not showing up in the list above yet. 🙂

      Cheers

Hi guys! Just thought I’de let you know that series 6 of Castle begins on September 7th on 5 USA.

  14. danny says:

Sky1 are going to screw up the DC shows crossovers – I can just tell!

    • Sam says:

They screwing up the order from the start
      We go
      Supergirl
      Flash
      Arrow

      In states
      Its
      Flash
      Arrow
      Supergirl
      Flash tbc
      Arrow tbc
      Legends

      • danny says:

        yeah it doesn’t bode well

      • DaveB says:

Sky Media page is showing DC’s Legends of Tomorrow not back until March 2017 which might be problematic.

I’m also still bemused as to why – for the shows they are airing as close as possible to the US – they can’t do so within 24 hours (as Amazon & Netflix seem to manage quite easily) rather than 7 days later.

So for me the order: Supergirl, The Flash & then Arrow is fine but they should be Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday – not Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday.

I know that it’s actually 14 days later for Supergirl and 21 days later for the others initially. I’m fine with Sky starting later & having fewer gaps in their schedule than the US but when they eventually catch up in each half season 24 hours would seem so much better. And I can’t really see any logical reason why they don’t do it. Or why Legends isn’t back on Friday 27th for that matter.

        • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

          Hi all,

Just wanted to say that I’ve spoken to Sky about this, and they say not to panic. They are working very closely with the US to make sure everything stays in order, and doesn’t upset DC UK fans. Few things to bear in mind:

          1. US scheduling has a lot more breaks in it than the UK, which is why they have to push the air dates back a little more. Otherwise Sky 1 end up with random weeks where they have nothing to show. Also remember we’re in a crazy US election year, and their is a good chance that is going to screw with transmission dates in the US (in addition to their usual random scheduling breaks!)

          2. Legends Of Tomorrow. Although I don’t have this confirmed, I *suspect* it’s not on the list yet, as it will arrive the first week in November (which we don’t have dates for yet) not October.

          3. Any dates listed are very very much subject to change until at least 2 weeks before broadcast.

My guess would be that with Supergirl, either it will switch to airing on the 31st rather than the 24th, putting it after Flash/Arrow. Or there is a break in the US scheduling somewhere before the first crossover which will sync the shows back up into the same running order as the US. Either way, Sky will have it covered. They aren’t going to want to air them out of order and upset the UK fans.

So don’t worry. Sky promise they have got it under control. 🙂

          Cheers
          Dave

          • danny says:

Dave gets involved and gets it sorted, this man has power!!!

            • Andrew Andrew says:

He does indeed! What they also said (and Dave won’t tell you because he is too modest) is that the next show to come from the DC slate is actually modelled on him. Here’s the synopsis:

“This is a story about an ordinary programmer. When he was made they found something wrong with him and threw him away, like a piece of rubbish, into an old dark store room. Then from outer-space a spotty man brought him to life with his cosmic dust. He took him to a magic cloud where Mother Nature gave him special powers. That programmer became SuperGeek!”

Shooter starring Ryan Philippe (Secrets and Lies) and Shantal Vansanten (One Tree Hill)

  36. Debbie says:

Hi, doe’s anyone know when the new u.s drama, Conviction, starring Eddie Cahill and hayley attwell will be shown on uk television please? I would so love to see it. Thankyou so much.

    • Andrew Andrew says:

Afraid not. It’s in the unknown section at the moment. The précis reads to me as awfully contrived (I mean, just once in a while it would be nice to have a main character who isn’t brilliant/brilliant but flawed/reluctantly rich; and being blackmailed into doing an incredibly interesting job that happens to fit very well with episodic Television).

Anyway, it doesn’t actually start in the US until October but I have a feeling we will see it here too before too long.

      • Debbie says:

Thanks andrew, i hope so. Maybe you’re right about the plot line. But i like Eddie Cahill in csi new York and it’s him I’m looking forward to seeing. I think he’s great.

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

      Hi Lauren,

It’s now in under ‘Winter’ as we don’t have an exact date yet. It ran about a month behind the US last year. However, it’s later back over there (20th Nov), so they may either move it close to the US date, in which case it’ll be late Nov, or could hold it till after Christmas, as i doubt they’d want to launch it in Dec.

      Cheers
      Dave

Can I ask for a few Australian originals to be added to the list & what you think the prospects are for the two that haven’t been picked up so far to turn up in the UK?

First up Cleverman – which is due to appear on BBC3 online at some point this year. http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2016-05-18/bbc3-follows-up-doctor-who-spin-off-class-with-new-sci-fi-thriller-cleverman

Secret City is a political conspiracy drama starring Anna Torv from Fringe. It is based on the novels The Marmalade Files and The Mandarin Code by Chris Uhlmann and Steve Lewis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFqf-PQ0PKY

The Kettering Incident is an eight part thriller set in Tasmania & starring Elizabeth Debicki – who was also in The Night Manager. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2W61YtXVyDQ

Oh and one more – season 2 of The Code – which I think finished filming sometime last year but hasn’t yet aired in Australia as far as I know. BBC4 actually aired the first series pretty much in line with the Australian airing though and if I remember rightly we might even have had the finale first. I’m assuming the first series did well enough that BBC4 will also air the second but I haven’t seen anything official.
