TIPS FOR POSTING It is always extremely helpful when people post dates, times and information below. It is useful in keeping the list as current as possible and makes for a great community spirit. But when posting, please remember the following:

1) Use full programme titles. As instantly recognisable as abbreviations may be to someone who watches that show, to someone who doesn’t, it is just a meaningless collection of letters that have to be looked up.

2) If a bit of information is a rumour, please say so – we can list it as such, pending confirmation

3) If something comes from a reputable source, please quote that source, so we all know it is not just a rumour.

Thank you.

Black-ish season 2 will begin November 18th at 7.30pm on E4, according to TV Wise.

  11. Howard says:

e4 have announced it will be premiering young & hungry on the 14th of november with a double bill http://www.tvwise.co.uk/2016/10/e4-sets-uk-premiere-date-young-hungry/

  12. Oli says:

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but The Affair (season 3) returns to Sky Atlantic on 21st November as per Sky Atlantic Facebook page.

  13. PaulB says:

    Hi,

The Affair season 3 starts Mon 21st Nov @ 9pm
    Advert during football yesterday.

  14. Gemma says:

Any word when TCM plan to show the second half of Hell on Wheels Season 5 part B will be shown on TCM

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Good question… Looking at the listing, it usually airs in Jan, so I would say that’s a safe bet.

      • Gemma says:

thanks. Not for me, for my dad. He found it on Amazon Prime since he had finished watching turn. He is already on Season 2 of it and I noticed that they have season 5 part A, Have to prepare him for the fact Season 5 part B has yet to be shown on TV. Netflix and Amazon prime is spoiling him for binge watching

  15. Shameless USA seasons 1-5 are now available on Netflix

  16. Ben says:

Hi anyone know when baby daddy is back on e4 season 5

  17. no one says:

hi does anyone know if the vampire diaries will air on tg4 in Ireland, the final season?

  18. Becky says:

Don’t know if it will be any good but a cop show with the guy from da Vinci’s demons on itv encore on the 9th Nov, called dark heart

  19. Lina says:

Hi, any idea about Million Dollar Listing NYC? Is it coming on UK screens again? Just finished season 3 on Sky Living. Cant find anything about seasons 4 and 5. Any help appreciated. Thanks

  20. Lemmy says:

It looks like Star Wars rebels recording schedule has disappeared, recorded the first few but then nothing. If I recall Disney always messed up their viewing schedule, unless it’s on a break after 5 eps?

    • Andrew Andrew says:

Episode 6 is on 5th November, and episode 7 the following week.

    • CHOW87 says:

I wondered the same thing but it’s back on the schedule for next Saturday morning.

      • Odyssey2001 says:

In the US, there was a week’s break between episodes 6 and 7, and then again between 7 and 8. Instead of following that pattern, it appears that we are having a week’s break this weekend and then we will get two weeks of new episodes (6 and 7) and another week off before a run of at least two episodes (8 and 9). I guess this pattern is better for viewer retention and advertising etc.

Given that XD is a children’s channel, they are very good at not messing with the schedule and ensuring grown ups who want to watch all of them get to do so with relative ease. Episodes are always clearly labelled with episode info and the timings are kept the same. It could be a lot worse.

  21. arch2525 says:

I see there’s no takers for BULL yet, with Michael Weatherley. Is there any update on this please?

  22. Brenda G says:

Anyone who is following Season 3 of Crossing Lines on Alibi may be able to help with this one.. Or not! ? Last week episode 2 “Whistleblower” was shown while this week they seem to be skipping episode 3 “Dragon” as the episode listed to air according to my Sky Planner is episode 4 “In Loco Parentis”. I DID email Alibi last week asking about this when I first noticed this but so far they have not replied to me.. Disappointing! ? Does anyone here know why ep3 is being skipped?? .. Dave?? .. Andrew?? Anybody?? The subject matter doesn’t appear to be any more sensitive than others in the series so I racked my brains why it mightn’t be on but can’t figure it.

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Looks like it might be an error. They are checking it. 🙂

      • annie kay says:

I got my son to Facebook them about this – he just got a reply & Alibi say that in loco parantis is ep 3 which is wrong as it should be dragon so have replied to them to look at it again

    • I did notice when trying to check the cast for where I’d seen a couple of faces before the description for Episode 4 “In Loco Parentis” on tv.com was not the description for this episode and that description appears instead under Episode 3 “Dragon”. So maybe the episode order varies.

      • Middie says:

In case any of you check back here, I asked Alibi about episode “Dragon” specifically, and they said that IMDB etc. are incorrect listing it as episode 3 and it will air as episode 7 of the series.

  23. Katie T says:

BBC1 have just tweeted that Sherlock is back on New Year’s Day

@BBCOne: Sherlock will return in The Six Thatchers on January 1, 2017. #Sherlock

  24. Paul says:

Is there any word of the UK release or air date for season 4 of The Originals yet? I know that season 3 debuted on iTunes before coming to Netflix; will it be the same with season 4?

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Still unclear at the moment. I’ve asked Netflix if they are going to be airing it along with the US, and the rep wasn’t sure yet, so hopefully we’ll find out before it airs. If not, it should still be available to buy on Amazon/iTunes etc… as it airs, the same as it was last year.

  25. Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

    ** Announcement **

Those of you that are fans of this page, you might want to take a listen to the podcast this week, as it not only features me as usual, but also – making his debut – is our very own Andrew! So you can actually put a voice to the various comments and replies he leaves on here. 😀

We also have 2 guests this week – Actress Susan Wokoma from E4’s Crazyhead, & Presenter Jamie East who you’ll know from shows such as Thronecast, and his Virgin Radio show. 🙂

You can listen above, or follow this link for more info about this week’s show:

  26. Liam says:

Tv wise is saying the final season of the vampire diaries is going to be airing on Tuesday November 8th at midnight. I mean come on I know I should be happy they are even airing the last season on tv but why so late?

    • Sophie says:

They’ve done it before where they have held off showing TVD until the start of November. It’s because it’s a shorter season and because they were probably showing other shows in the slot where they would normally put TVD. Like I said it’s happened before where TVD hasn’t started until November. The main thing is that the show will finally be back on tv in the UK

  27. Annette says:

Hi line of duty code black mysteries of Laura not heard anything about these programmes being aired anytime soon

  28. Annette says:

Can u tell me when madam secretary new series is starting

  29. edward perkins says:

The Vampire Final 8th Season Starts on Tuesday 8th November 2016 at 12am on ITV2.

    Info From TVWISE

  30. Pat says:

Any news on when Cordon Series 2?

  31. Beks says:

Any news on the original’s ? And zoo? Cheers!

    • Sophie says:

The Originals isn’t being aired in the U.K. because no channel is picking up the show since Syfy dropped the show. When season 4 starts in 2017 (they pushed the show back because they wanted to show another or new tv shows where they normally put The Originals), it will be shorter than its 22 episode run. Season 3 of The Originals is available on DVD if you’re waiting for that season. Like I said The Originals will be returning in 2017 with season 4

    • edward perkins says:

Season 4 of The Originals will be shown on Netflix UK & Ireland somtime in 2017. Zoo Season 3 will air on Sky 1 in Summer 2017.

  32. danny says:

Digiguide has the Librarians starting Mon 21/11 @ 8pm on Syfy

  33. Clare says:

Hi, do you know when the strain will be back on? It seems to have disappeared from its usual Friday night slot? Thanks

  34. Jonathan says:

Anyone know when Battlebots season 2 will air on Spike? I know the full series has already been shown in the US

  35. emma hibbert says:

Any update in when ghost hunters season 11airs in the uk

  36. Howard says:

dark angel premieres on the 31st of october at 9pm on itv http://www.tvwise.co.uk/2016/10/itv-sets-premiere-date-dark-angel/

  37. edward perkins says:

Channel Zero Season 1 starts on Monday 31st October 2016 at 10pm on 5Star.

    Info from TVWISE

  38. Gemma says:

Any idea or inkling when the Goldbergs might return to E4?

  39. Terry Lewis says:

Hi Geektown, that simulcast of the opener of The Walking Dead isn’t showing up on the Sky Planner. Any idea as to why? 🙁

  40. Howard says:

not sure if it would be the kind of program you would put on this site normally but i saw an advert for a new series called mars coming to national geographic on the 13th of November

  41. Paul Wilson says:

sorry if I’ve missed something but it says above that the walking dead premiere will be simulcast but I can’t find it at all on the sky planner,

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

No you haven’t missed anything, it’s not showing up in the the Sky Planner yet. I’ve been back to Fox on this a number of times. It is coming…

Basically, Fox are only simulcasting the premiere, not the entire season, so they are promoting the 9pm air time, as that will be the regular slot. They also didn’t want to add it to the Sky Planner and have people try and series link it, then get all confused when it’s not there next week.

So, if you look at the planner at the moment, there is a suspicious looking random episode of NCIS shoved in at 2.30am on the morning of the 24th, amidst a bunch of Family Guy re-runs. That’s because they were told they had to put something in there, and couldn’t leave it as ‘to be confirmed’. However, towards the end of the week, that’s going to be switched out for The Walking Dead. 🙂

  42. Dormouse says:

Just saw a trailer on Syfy for The Librarians, season 3. Starting in November, it said.

  43. edward perkins says:

Trollied Season 6 starts on Monday 7th November 2016 at 9pm on Sky 1.

I Saw it Advertised on TV while watching WWE Monday Night Raw.

  44. Debbie says:

Yes he is the actor who played tag, he also has played detective Don flack in csi new York and Sam in under the dome. I can’t wait to see him in conviction, i never miss anything with him in, he’s so gorgeous.

  45. Gemma says:

Was watching the new episode of Criminal Minds and advert came on saying that Convinction will start 2nd November. No Time

    • Debbie says:

Hi Gemma, I’ve saw the advert for conviction also, but i read on this forum that the time it starts is at 9.00pm and as you already know on the 2nd of November. I can’t wait to see it, i love Eddie Cahill.

  46. just to say that adverts for ‘Thunderbirds are Go’ have it starting on Saturday 22nd at 3.30 with a double bill on ITV.

  47. Ric says:

Timeless has been picked up by E4 and Channel zero has been picked up by 5star

  48. Robert says:

Hi there. Great website. Visit it multiple times during the week. Quick question, why is Supergirl starting the same week as Arrow and The Flash over here with Legends of Tomorrow starting the following week whereas in the U.S., Arrow and The Flash both start the week before the other 2. Isn’t that gonna mess up the 4 show crossover they have planned?

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

I asked Sky the same thing and they swear it will sync up. I’m guessing there will be a week when Supergirl doesn’t air in the US and it will sync back up.

      • Gemma says:

Probably due to the multiple season breaks American shows have

      • Jack says:

I don’t see how it’ll sync up, unless they do a double bill on Legends as the crossover episode is the 8th episode for all shows and then for Supergirl, Flash, Arrow that’ll be w/c 12 Dec but then Legends will be on it’s 7th Episode :/

        • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Flash, Arrow and Legends are all in the correct spots in relation to each other. Legends started the week after in the US to. The oddity is Supergirl, which aired the week after in the US, so it’s out of place. My guess would be Supergirl misses a week in the US at some point in the first 8 weeks, which we don’t skip, so that syncs things back up.

  49. Annemarie H says:

Does anyone know if BULL is coming to the UK

  50. Abigail says:

Can remember seeing someone asking about the second season of Love Child but cannot find it to reply to.
According to my planned recordings the second season starts on Monday 24th October 2.20am on More4, second episode same time on the 25th and so on.

    • Abigail says:

      Oops I meant 2:10am

    • Howard says:

I was the one asking Abigail thanks so much 🙂 one of my favourite foreign programmes

      • It’s airing nightly – including weekends – and I notice they are carrying straight on into series 3 after 2. Which is great news for fans as I’d assumed the late slot was because it was “ratings challenged” and thought they might not pick up any more (I think I read somewhere that they’d bought the first two series at the outset but hadn’t seen anything about the third).

  51. kate Field says:

Are you sure Braquo Season 4 is to be shown on BBC4 because various internet sites are saying that FOX is airing it on the same date

  52. s says:

jimmy fallon has been on cnbc for years! i know because i watch and it’s always 24 hours after us showing so i don’t get why e! is showing it and how someone in the sun paper said it was the first time it was ever on in the uk when i’ve been watching it on uk tv for at least 5 years or more.

    • MartyM says:

One advantage may be that they will show the full hour long show, rather than the edited half hour that CNBC show?
E! and CNBC are both owned by NBC Universal, so I suspect they can get it in the U.K. for little or no extra cost.

  53. Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Just copying this here as I know people don’t always read the front page:
Universal Channel UK have dropped How To Get Away With Murder

    https://www.geektown.co.uk/2016/10/14/universal-channel-uk-drops-get-away-murder/

    • Andrew Andrew says:

No way? People ALWAYS read the front page, surely? If not, why not?

The front page is where you’ll find all your breaking TV news and if you’ve got this page bookmarked, you need to have the front page bookmarked too.

  54. Another genre show for the list. You might have mentioned it in the news section a while back I’m not sure but it’s not on the list yet in any case: Hulu’s ten-part series Freakish – which debuted in the US this week – has already been picked up by ITV2 as part of an overall deal they have with something called Awesomeness TV. http://www.itv.com/presscentre/press-releases/itv-and-awesomenesstv-announce-uk-partnership-target-youth-audiences

And yes the name “Awesomeness TV” as well as this review of Freakish from someone in their mid-20s who thinks they are outside the target demographic suggests I might be a bit too old for this show but I’m still interested in checking it out. http://decider.com/2016/10/13/hulu-freakish-review/

  55. A couple of Aussie series to note. Season 2 of The Code starts on BBC Four next Saturday (22 October). And season 1 of Glitch – which looks like Australia’s version of The Returned and/or In the Flesh is available on Netflix from tomorrow. Season 2 of Glitch is due out in Australia next year.

I’m also still really hoping a UK broadcaster picks up The Kettering Incident (and that Showcase in Australia picks it up for a second series).

  62. Becky says:

I know ITV can be rubbish but is there a reason you keep missing off some of their mini series from the listings?

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Hi Becky. Somewhat answered your own question. 😉 But seriously, we don’t alway add every single show, particularly if they are mini-series and are one-off’s without another season. Sometimes they get added on if we think they are worth highlighting, but if you have any you want tracking, mention them here.

      Cheers
      Dave 🙂

      • Becky says:

I have mentioned some and they were not added hence my question; with them not having started I don’t know if they will be any good, but an intriguing one starting next week the 19th about a teenage boy with supernatural powers. It’s called him.
