I know that I asked before about Star Trek Discovery in 4k but now that it is on Netflix can anyone confirm if it is in 4k for me,, I have asked on facebook and twitter but not getting an answer. Thanks
Yes. It’s in HD, not Super/Ultra HD, so not 4K… Although I’ve watched both episodes this morning, and I would say it looked great, and not at all blurry.
Inhumans is included in Sky’s new for October ads.
I can confirm that NCIS: New Orleans Series 3 is on Channel 5 from the 7th of October 2017 at the earlier time of 7pm, I’d know why because of their football highlights and in the week, its their original documentaries or sometimes a movie premiere.
At 7pm it’ll probably be so edited, it won’t be worth watching. I’d wait until it comes onto Five’s On Demand. Just another example of how Five treats certain shows ( Person Of Interest, Gotham, and how Wentworth was unceremoniously dumped midseason from 5 HD to one of its lesser channels)
Wasn’t it on at 7pm last season?
Is this definite? cant see anything on my tv guide
No, it’s not confirmed, which is why it’s not updated on the list. NCIS: New Orleans is not on any of the Channel 5 listings at the moment.
Sky have confirmed that The Flash, Supergirl, Arrow and DC Legends of Tomorrow Return to Sky 1 This October 2017.

Source: Netflix UK Twitter
Thanks Snowy. We don’t usually put the times on for US shows when the come onto Netflix, but they are nearly always 8am for future reference. 🙂
Thanks for the heads up. Suits normally appears around 2pm lol; so thought that was the norm ?.
Yeah, it’s not always 8am, but that has been the standard time for most of the US shows.
any news on the flash or supergirl yet please?
I reason week before walking dead or week after
Yes, it’s not confirmed yet, but they will all be back somewhere around the end of Oct.
It’s normally a week or two after the U.S. So normally towards the end of October
Any idea when season 4 part 2 of Vikings will be aired on History, thanks.
Why is Black Sails and Vikings not repeated on the Lifetime channel anymore after the the episodes were shown on History? thanks.
They probably will still show them. It’s been a few months after the Blu-ray/DVD release before they’ve shown them in the past
Oops. Thought you were referring to the History screening. Obviously still half asleep!
Thanks, anyone got the phone number for Lifetime channel?

Where supernatural disappeared to
It’s not disappeared entirely https://www.geektown.co.uk/tvairdates/supernatural/ It’s just not showing up in the list yet, as it’s in Early 2018. That’s not confirmed, but seems likely given the USA’s silly scheduling of the show, which means it doesn’t air every week. It could still comes earlier, but I suspect E4 will want to take at least some of the scheduling gaps out of it.
when is NCIS season 15 airing in uk?
Officially not confirmed yet, but it’s been Jan for the last 6 season… so it’ll be Jan 2018
https://www.geektown.co.uk/tvairdates/ncis/ 🙂
The strain was not picked up by W channel season 4 is the last season which just finished in usa
What’s with the ads playing loudly when I can’t even find an ad on the screen to turn it off.
Yes, it is annoying!
I understand that this site is funded by advertising, but this is obviously not working correctly.
Humm… No, they shouldn’t be auto-playing sound. Is this when you’re on mobile or desktop computer?
For me it’s the iPad.
Although it hasn’t done it this morning…..
Hi there have you got any knowledge of when the strain season 4 returns thank you very much
It’s been axed no season 4
There is a season 4 its already finished in USA
Yes there is. Season 4 is the final season. It wasn’t actually axed, the producers ended it as the story was concluded. It was annoyingly dropped by UKTV in the UK… Still no news of a new channel for it yet though…
BBC Press Centre have confirmed Our Girl Series 3 is coming to BBC One in the second week of October and this may should replace Doctor Foster in the process as its only a four parter this time and I’d guess it will be on the 10th of October at 9pm and Our Girl was previously shown Wednesday night last year as with The Apprentice on Wednesdays and Ambulance on Thursday.
You sure as Michelle is still filming and dc foster u sure only 4 and if that is what’s gonna be on the 3rd Oct and I swear our girl always been on tuesday
I don’t know about exact timing but it’s definitely airing this autumn. Series 3 is actually 8 episodes in total but it’s 2 stories with 4 episodes each and 1 story is airing this year and one next year. That’s why Michelle could still be filming as well as it seemingly airing next month
Thank you I didn’t know thus.
Yeah thus maybe is why she still filming then
According to Digital Spy there will be 12 episodes comprising of 3 missions / stories.
http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/news/a838864/our-girl-2017-michelle-keegan-series-3-trailer-teaser/
Just to confirm Dr foster is on 3rd Oct so more than 4 as this will be 5 I’m guessing there’s 6 so our girl will be back 17th
It was only down to the five episodes not more for Doctor Foster, but Our Girl is definitely going to be pencilled in for the 10th of October 2017, this will make it the sixth Tuesday night drama in over at least six months now barring the week of the Manchester attacks that postponed Broken. As with The A Word not being confirmed as of yet and same goes for Peaky Blinders on BBC Two for the fourth series.
If OG doesn’t get the Tuesday slot fans will be disappointed, there hasn’t been a trailer of yet through, but we will keep our eyes peeled on it as it might premiere before Casualty or The Child in Time or Rellik possibly this week.
Our girl advertisers on Facebook coming soon and it’s 12 parts
I mean 12 ep. 3 parts of 4 ep

Does anyone know if Star Trek Discovery will air on Sky in the U.K. And when?
Highly unlikely to happen anytime soon as Netflix have invested a lot to get the UK premiere rights. It’s probably going to be years before you get it on normal broadcast tv.
What are the chances of it finding it’s way onto DVD/Blu-ray?
That’s very likely as it’s also a CBS property. I would think you’ll see the disc release at some point in 2018.
Yes, it starts Monday 25th September 2017 on Netflix.
Hi, a slight start time amendment for you – THE DEUCE, Season 1, Sky Atlantic, 26 September 2017, starts at 10:00 pm, not 9.00pm.
For anyone who doesn’t have Netflix- Sony Channel are showing season 2 of Orange is the New Black starting with a double bill 9pm Wednesday 4th October.
hi I have a question on Star Trek Discovery. Do you know yet if it is going to be shown in 4k yet?
Officially I don’t, but if it was shot in 4K, I can’t imagine Netflix wouldn’t air it in 4K.
Looking around, it seems the tech specs for a Netflix Original series (which this is billed as outside of the US) require it to be in 4K. So I would say, probably, yes.
thanks for the help. cheers.
following on from my comment about Thunderbirds are Go on ITV1 on the 30th September, just checked on Radio Times listings and it is being shown at 4.20pm
I’d be interested in people’s opinions regarding how likely it is that another provider will pick up ‘Mom’ now that ITV2 has dropped it?
I’m hoping Netflix take it
…or Comedy Central…it’s a darn sight better than a lot of their content
It could go to E4 where the big bang theory shown on.
Hi, do you know if Shooter will be back to finish Season 2? I know Ryan Phillipee broke his leg & that’s why it ended at episode 8.
Will there be a season 3?
Thanks
That’s season 2 over, no news on renewal
Has there been anything new regarding Channel Zero? I’m praying for a Netflix release.
It’s all on Amazon Video not season 4 thow as it hasen’t been out yet I have the first season on my account I’m on the third episodes but havent had a chance to catch up with it. I’m pretty sure they won’t show it on any channel 5 owned channels because it’s all over the place on tv channels and what I mean by that is they love to stop everything put big brother on then clebrry big brother then eventually they come back. So I wouldn’t hold your breath.
Did some checking for you. Channel Zero is coming back to 5USA in the Autumn. 🙂
I know don’t interest many
But could you find out when are u the one season 6 in back uk
Ok I’m guessing no one cares lol I won’t ask again lol
Hello! Does anyone have any idea when the new series of Suits is being shown? I heard a rumour that it’s already on Netflix…. Thanks in advance!
Yes, Netflix are now the UK broadcaster for Suits. The entire first half of Suits Season 7 is on Netflix where it premiered weekly the day after the US. It’ll return early 2018 for Season 7, part 2. 🙂
Thank you! ??
A bit different to the usual shows on here, but BBC4 have scheduled Ken Burns’ new documentary series The Vietnam War for 25th September at 9pm. Of interest to some people because Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (Nine Inch Nails, The Social Network, Gone Girl, etc.) have scored it.
Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/proginfo/2017/39/the-vietnam-war
I was about to mention this myself, having read an article about it in the paper. I’m a great fan of his Civil War series from all those years ago, so will certainly be giving this a try.
wll Channel 5 be showing the new series of Gotham now that it is on netflix?
or sieries 3
Yes, they do have the rights to air Season 3 on Channel 5, so it will come at some point. When though… I have no idea. I wouldn’t hold my breath for them buying season 4 though.
thanks
Just to let everyone know on geektown that American Horror Story Season 6: Roanoke is now streaming on Netflix UK From Today (16th September 2017).

Jane The Virgin Season 4 Starts on Saturday 14th October 2017 on Netflix UK.

Hi
I was wondering if you had heard anything regarding season 4 of Gotham.. considering that Channel 5 have not even shown season 3 yet I was curious if they were keeping it or going to release it to a company that can do it justice, or will we have to wait for another year to get it on Netflix. Thanks
Nothing yet… They may have to untangle some rights issues first, as it depends if C5 have an option to buy Season 4 (although given the mess it’s been with Season 3, I’m not sure why they would bother!) My *hope* is that C5 do release it, and Netflix can pick it up weekly, but we may not know what’s going to happen for a while… I mean, it will come to Netflix next year, but I really hope we don’t have to wait that long.
I don’t know if it’s been mentioned, but Season 5 of Dave Gorman’s Modern Life is Goodish is the final season. He announced it a while back on his FB page.

Porridge 2016 Season 1 Confirmed Friday 6th October 2017 8:30pm BBC One
With the law and order true crimes series being picked up how many series is that from the upcoming fall/autumn season coming to the uk? about five so far isnt it?
From the main US networks, 4 shows so far I think from the LA Screenings. True Crimes, The Orville, The Good Doctor, and The Gifted. Netflix has Dynasty (but that was already under offer to Netflix from CBS). Still a LOT to come though, but it’s still a little early. Tends to be end of Sept/Early Oct before UK channels really start to ramp up with acquisition announcements.
will defintely be watching some of those hopefully more good ones come. Any particular ones you want to see?
I’ve never watched Law & Order, but i do like True Crime, so that has me interested. The Gifted looks good, and I really loved House, so I’m interested in The Good Doctor, and, of course, The Orville. I know it’s got slated by the critics, but I do want to see it.
Of the not-yet-picked-up… Lots… although some of these are set for mid-season, so early next year:
SEAL Team (David Boreanaz new show)
Young Sheldon (Big Bang prequel)
Black Lightning (New DC show)
The Crossing (About refugees fleeing to the past to escape a war that hasn’t happened yet)
Deception (about a magician who helps the FBI)
Ghosted (X-Files meets Ghostbusters)
The Gospel of Kevin (Man tasked by God to save the world)
Instinct (Alan Cumming as a former CIA operative who’s pulled back into helping them)
Marvel’s Inhumans (cause it’s Marvel… and Inhumans)
The Resident (Medical drama, but looks quite good)
Wisdom of the Crowd (Jeremy Piven as a tech genius who invents an app to solve crime)
Will & Grace (because… It’s Will & Grace)
I’m sure there are more, but that’s all I can think of at the moment! 😀
for me programs im looking forward to are the gifted (mostly because of amy acker as she was brilliant in person of interest), the orville, and may check out star trek despite only ever having watched one of the other series.
As for unacquired programs, ill say the crossing, life sentence, the mayor, ghosted and reverie although i know theres more as well

Hello,

Thanks
Any news on a start date for The A-Word series 2? All I can find is “Fall 2017” .
Can anyone tell me why British TV channels wait till the last minute to announce start dates when their American counterparts do so months in advance? Surely schedules can’t possibly be in flux till the last possible minute? They do have ad space to sell and that is mainly dependant on broadcast time slot…
Nothing on The A-Word yet (they seem to be taking their time with that 2nd series!)
Regarding start dates, the UK schedules are not considered ‘locked’ till 2 weeks before broadcast. I’m not sure why that is, it’s just the way they do it. Part of the reason could be because we have a lot more acquisitions than the US does, so deals sometimes aren’t done till quite late. So whilst they may have an idea of when something is going to air, if they manage to land a massive US show, they’re going to want to put it in a prime spot. That means moving things around, so they don’t want to have announced a date, only to have it move. Normal advertising deals can be done pretty last minute, and sponsorship deals tend to cover genre rather than specific shows (i.e. Drama on Sky Atlantic, sponsored by Volvo,) so the time slot is not important. 🙂
Probably 2018 for that A Word series two as its still being delayed due to completion of filming and editing in the episodes, at the moment we may reach another new drama replacement on BBC One for Tuesday nights, they have already been five of them so far, it might not be The A-Word or just be something else for a start of.
On a ligher note, Porridge 2016 Series 1 (full series) starts on Friday 6th October 2017 at 8.30pm on BBC One following the pilot episode re-boot last August and Bad Move starts on ITV on Wednesday 20th September at 8pm on ITV starring Jack Dee. Which is more to the comedy front at the moment, with no new announcement on Citizen Khan or the upcoming Westworld series two over on Sky Atlantic.
Thanks for the prompt and thorough explanation; it makes perfect sense! It is inconceivable to me that time-slots don’t matter; surely GB ha “prime time” like we do in North America but regardless, I can see how deal-making could impact an ad-buy.
I wouldn’t say it’s that ad slot don’t matter, it’s just that straight advertising deals can be don’t pretty last min. So once a program is locked in, they know they have at least 2 weeks to fill the ad buys. They also have a good idea that there is going to be something good on at primetime. It’s just possible they might not have 100% nailed down which show it is. Although in the case of a lot of big returning shows, they know. There is also the BBC issue. They don’t have ads and don’t announce until 2 weeks before, mainly because they don’t want to schedule against a big show on Itv if they can avoid it. But itv likes to play chicken with the Beeb, and schedule late so they can catch them out. 😉
Next weeks RT has The A Word Series 2 Confirmed for October alongside Blue Planet II over on BBC One.
Is there any news on anyone picking up Scorpion yet cheers
No, nothing yet sadly.

All Star Hell’s Kitchen start in US on September 29th, do we think ITV2 will pick this up as usual with normal Hell’s Kitchen?
Dear Geekland,
First, I forgot to thank you on my last query “The Last Ship” so thank you.
My latest query, is/are there going to be New series of Pure Genius, Rosewood, Aftermath.
thanking you in advance
Both rosewood and Pure Genius have been cancelled. Not sure about the other one
Aftermath was also cancelled sadly.
Any news on if Law & Order True Crime is going to be picked up by any UK channels?
Just added to the list. 🙂
Any idea if stalker coming back on living
Sorry, no chance. It was cancelled in 2015 after 1 season.
Hi, I’ve just seen adverts on Syfy UK showing that the start date of ‘Dimension 404’, Season 1, is THURSDAY 05 October, NOT 03 October (2017) as advertised – presumably a change of schedule by Syfy?
Thanks Russ. Just checked the listings again, and you are correct, they’ve moved it back a couple of days. It’s updated now. 🙂
Is it just me or did Arrow, Supergirl, Flash and Legends of Tommrow all have dates before but now they don’t.
Also will Gotham still becoming to CH5 now that Netflix has it?
Thanks and keep up the excellent work on this blog.
Don’t think there ever was date was always in autumn
But if going like every year they will all be back in Oct. As we go week after us and always goes on same break. It’s normally as well week before walking dead as they all go on break same time in Dec and come back in feb
Yes, we don’t usually get exact confirmed dates until a couple of weeks before. They’re back w/c 9th Oct in the US, so we’ll know soon.
According to C5, they do still have rights to Gotham Season 3, and were “hoping” to air in the Autumn. Don’t know if Netflix has beating them to air will change their minds, but they do technically still have the rights.
Season 3 of CBS American Sitcom Life In Pieces starts This November 2017 on Amazon Prime UK 24 hours behind America according to TVWISE.
Regarding the new image at the top im going to guess cw superhero shows, the walking dead, new star trek, the good place, & not sure but maybe the deuce?
Ooh so close, but 1 wrong. 😉
Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams
Yep, well done. 🙂
No nes on Blacklist season 5 ?
Officially no, but it’s usually not far behind the US, so Oct or Nov is likely. However, they may decide to bump it to the new year though, as they delayed it 2 months last year, and it still ended up being split into 3 parts!
This normally on with all dc programs
And normally takes break same time. I’m guessing only reason took 3 breaks last year was because of there spin of. And cause that’s been cancelled guessing be back to normal.this year
Red Dwarf confirmed as starting on Dave 12th October.

Any hint of a broadcaster yet for ‘Will & Grace’, Season 9? I find the lack of news on this slightly disconcerting. ?
It’s not out yet in the states, will be a while before its picked up. Probably living or E4 if anyone
Thank you for the update. Hopefully there will be some news soon and their won’t be too long a delay between U.S & U.K. transmission dates. ??

Oops my bad it isn’t on the 13th for some reason. Well it’s on for next weeks TV magazine out next Tuesday.
In fact the new series is 8 and not 7. 7 premiered in September 2015. I couldn’t find a premiere date on the ITV website nor on the Doc Martin Facebook page (though it does link to the series 8 DVD boxset which will be released December 12 of this year so that can only mean it will have finished airing by then….)

Tickets are now available to see the filming of Have I Got News For You on Thursday 5th October. https://hat-trick-productions.tickettext.co.uk/hat-trick-productions/have-i-got-news-for-you-series-54-show-1-05102017/ As a topical news show, it usually shows on BBC1 the Friday night after it’s been filmed, though there are rumours of BBC dropping it (basically because the current head of entertainment doesn’t like panel shows) and it moving to Dave, so it’s not clear what channel it will be on.
British Comedy Guide are saying it starts on 6th October on BBC1

Wynonna Earp has just been renewed for season 3 (announced at San Diego Comic-Con), and season 1 has just hit Netflix UK. So guessing there’s no release date for s3 as yet.
Officially no, but (assuming SYFY UK picks it up again), Summer 2018 is likely.
Do Syfy UK own Spike?
Closely linked to Channel 5 – both are owned by Viacom
No they don’t own Spike the owner of Spike is Viacom who also own channels below 5,5USA,5*,Bet,Comedy Central/Extra And MTV. Syfy is owned by NBC who also run Universal Channel as well as Viceland. Hope that clear it up for you
Wynonna Earp is shown on Spike! I so hope they pick it up for the third season
Just seen a trailer announcing Swedish drama Black Lake is coming soon to bbc4
This comes to BBC4 on 16th September according to Radio Times!
So, who else is super disappointed that no UK broadcaster seems to have picked up The Orville? It starts in the US next week.
Most US shows only get picked up in the UK after they’ve started airing in the US these days. Think channels tend to watch how ratings go over there first now before picking most things up in case they rate badly or get cancelled quickly
Yes, Katie is correct, for new shows, they do sometimes wait and see the US reaction to it before buying. I’m hopeful someone will take The Orville though.
Id imagine someone will. ITV2 I think have rights to all of the other McFarlane shows
If ITV do by the rights to broadcast The Orville, be prepared to wait at least 6 months. You’re more likely to see it on FOX UK or streaming on Amazon Prime, LONG before ITV!
when is LAW AND ORDER SVU RETURNING AFTER THE MID SEASON BREAK
Modern Family returns this month, i’m guessing Friday 29th at 8pm or 8.30pm.
Seen it on Sky’s September advert.

Hawi o5 sep
This is all starting in us dates my question is are they really gonna start arrow couple months behind other’s and if are is there any reason why
Also UK normally get these only couple weeks after do u think be same this time
Can arrow surely be right as they go break in December normally
According to skynevermiss Arrow, the flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow all return this october 2017 on Sky 1.
No, that’s wrong for Arrow.
In the US on CW:
Supergirl Premieres Mon, 9th Oct 2017
Flash & Legends Of Tomorrow Premiere Tues, 10th Oct 2017
Arrow & Supernatural Premiere Thurs, 12th Oct 2017
All the DC shows will most likely be back on Sky 1 late Oct.
Supernatural *could* be back in Oct, but I suspect E4 may leave it till the new year, as it does tend to have a LOT of breaks in the US schedule. This is the first year we’ve caught up with the US airing, so it’s hard to predict.
Hawaii 5-O will most likely be Jan 2018 (or very late 2017)
Scorpion will probably be October, but ITV2 have yet to confirm.
Thank God for that was really worried about arrow just in case there was cross overs if we would get mixed up
I know all dc shows normally come week before walking dead and last 2 times UK got week after us
Do we know yet if black list will have so many breaks this time can’t believe there was so many last season
Strictly is scheduled to kick off on Friday 29th Sep 9:00pm
No that’s wrong… Strictly is back on the 9th Sept (could be 29th for the live shows maybe?)
I think it may be the 22nd for the live shows. Read it on DS forum and think the info came from the fact the audience ticket requests are now open
Static is a new sitcom starring Rob Beckett and Phil Davis begins Fri 15th Sep 10:35pm BBC One
not sure if it was posted yet or not but syfy uk have picked up dimension 404 and plan to air it from 3rd of october according to tvwise
Hi Howard – yes we’ve seen that one thanks – it’s actually up there in the October section twice (!) – it has the potential to be a terrific new show
Once now, I think we both added it. 😀
Upstart Crow Series 2 Mon 11th Sep 8.30pm BBC Two
When does season 15 of the Ellen Degeneres show start on itv2 ? It starts in America on 5th September
The Ellen Degeneres show season 15 starts on Monday 11th September at 1.50 on itv 2
Virgin EPG & TV & Sateollite Week show Mock The Week returning on Friday 8th September now, not 7th as the list
That’s fixed now. 🙂
Virgin tv guide got a league of own advertised for 12 Sep 9.00pm is this error or is it error by Stella start date
Guess this was ignored
No. Virgin TV guide is showing a League of their own on the 14th, just as it is listed above
Now my virgin tv guide got Nicky Flanagan Dr your de France on at 9 12/9
And got this on at 10
Does anyone know if or when the fourth season of love child will be shown on more4? also didn’t see it in a to z list but if its the kind of program you don’t give updates on then that’s ok too
I have been watching Love Child from the start and really like it so would be interested in whether they will be showing any more series.
P.S. Great work by you guys by the way, find out most of my info from Geektown, which otherwise I might not have picked up.
Strictly Come Dancing BBC One Confirmed Saturday 9th September 2017
No time confirmed as yet
Below says 8th and 9th
Geektown have confirmed it will be on at 7.05pm on Saturday 9th September and we would’ve had that Extra EastEnders on at 8.40pm on Saturdays instead of casualty to see the aftermath of the gas explosion but instead they’d scheduled the news at that time and the last night of the proms.
It would’ve been a special edition special for eastenders fans no need to complain there Tracey. At least strictly this time will have a tribute to Bruce Forsyth and the launch show.
Star Season 1 starts on Thursday 31st August 2017 at 9pm on 5Star.
Info from TVWISE
‘Get Shorty’ (based on the novel / film) from Epix is getting good reviews, perhaps one for the list?

Added now. 🙂
The Gifted coming to Fox on the 8th October 😀

Strictly Come Dancing BBC One Confirmed Friday 8th / Saturday 9th September 2017
There’s no show on the 8th, it’s launching on the 9th with the show revealing the pairings. Then it’ll start properly 2 or 3 weeks later with the dancing shows, which will be 2 shows if it’s the same as recent years
Brokenwood Mysteries season 3 will be on UK TV Drama on 27 October 2017. Info from TV Wise.
Shameless USA Series 6 starts on Netflix on Friday 1 September 2017. All 12 episodes will be available to stream. Information from TV Wise.
Another one which I used to watch but has now gone over to Netflix. Is it likely any ordinary channel will pick it up?
I see that C4 still own the rights to Shameless USA but are not saying whether they will be showing the latest 2 series as ratings on the last series were very low.. I won’t hold my breath then!
Halt And Catch Fire seems to be coming to AMC on Sky channel 192, starting September 5th. Does anyone know if this is the first season?
Yes it is. Amazon Prime has the premiere rights in the UK, but it looks like AMC are airing it from Season 1.
Thanks Dave. Best sell the DVD I recently acquired as I’m yet to watch this much talked about show and can do for free now!!
It is only free if you subscribe to the BT sport package of which AMC channel is part. This is quite expensive unless you are a BT broadband subscriber.
Anyone know if Empire Season 3 will be repeated. Come to think of it has Empire ever been repeated?
I don’t think it’s ever been repeated. Your best chance of seeing it again would be online or but the box set when it’s out.
Manhunt:unabomber discovery channel original any date for U.K.?
Safe House Series 2 Confirmed Thursday 7th September 2017 ITV 9pm
http://www.itv.com/presscentre/ep1week36/safe-house
Provisional schedules check that Doctor Foster has been confirmed on BBC One from 5th September 2017 at 9pm.
I don’t know any more information about this but I do know Victoria is having a Christmas special episode but that’s all I know. I assume at some point there will be more information.
Arrow returns in the uk on October 25
The Flash returns in the uk on October 24

Does anyone know if a U.K channel has or will pick up freeforms ‘the bold type’ ?
Does anyone know if any UK channel is picking up S.W.A.T?
Hi. Is there any chance they will either repeat MacGyver or put it on sky box-sets before the new season?
Thanks
WHEN IS THE NEXT SEASON OF LAW AND ORDER SVU RETURNING ON UK TV
Regarding the good place pick up does that include the irish netflix as well or just uk as i would love to see it 🙂 also stranger things has been renewed for season 3 according to metro
I’m not sure… If you’re in Ireland, search for it on Netflix and see if it appears, as it’s placeholder is on the UK site, so i’d expect it to be on the Irish Netflix as well if it is coming. 🙂
The Good Place has been picked up by Netflix air date TBA
Just did on search on my Netflix UK app and it says coming on the 21st September!
Netflix really is becoming indispensable isn’t it.
Thanks guys! So happy about this. Saw the first season on the plane to the US and it’s brilliant. The air date of the 21st Sept seems to imply they will drop the 2nd season on weekly too, as that’s the day after the US air date. 🙂
Any news on a pick up for Inhumans?
No annoyingly… If you want to catch the first 2 episodes, pre-bookings are open at your nearest IMAX, who are airing episodes 1 & 2 as a feature.
I saw on either the poster or in an email I got, that it hinted that you could see the rest of the season next year. Granted I don’t know if this is just a copy from US posters.
Any news on below
Strike back new 1
Hawi 5 o
Stella
Strike Back: Season 6 – Nothing yet. Might come before the end of the year, or could be early next year. It’s not in the October lists from Sky, so it’ll be after that.
Hawaii 5-0: Likely Jan 2018 as usual.
Stella: Likely Jan 2018 as usual.
Looked ahead to set record for Lucifer on FOX UK . It isn’t showing on August 31 st on the guide ?
Safe House Series 2 Confirmed Thursday 7th September 2017 ITV 9pm
Doctor Foster Series 2 Confirmed Tuesday 5th September 2017 BBC One 9pm

Hi guys….any news on the fourth series of the strain? I know it got dropped by watch….what’s going on with it…any news
Still no news unfortunately…
is there any news on csi cyber season 2 for the uk yet
Hi Nathan, sorry, no news… And given Channel 5’s treatment of US imports recently, and the fact it’s a cancelled show, I very much doubt the 2nd season will air.
Is there any news on Stana Katic’s new show Absentia, getting aired in U.K.?
No nothing yet, but it doesn’t have a US channel or air date yet either. It’s made by AXN, which is part of Sony, so the Sony Channel seems likely, although that doesn’t always follow. I imagine UKTV might look at it for Alibi, given it’s Stana Katic, although I don’t have any confirmed intel.
Why is Gotham Season 3 saying Netflix? Has Channel 5 lost the rights?
No, Channel 5 have the rights, just aren’t allowed to air it yet (for reasons they aren’t allowed to tell me…) It will come to DVD/Blu-ray, then Netflix, then (hopefully) Channel 5 can air it later in the Autumn.
FOX UK has now picked up the previous two Lucifer seasons to launch on TV on Thursday, August 31 at 9pm
Do we know when Dr forester on could it be 5th september
The BBC announced their Press Centre schedules today for week 36, inaccurate that Doctor Foster may be part of it as it will be Trust Me’s replacement on a Tuesday night, which you may be saying it on the 5th of September and I have not seen no trailer of Suranne Jones, Bertie Carvel, and Jodie Comer in the upcoming series, i’d expect it may be good.
At the moment BBC are showing trailers of Strike: The Cuckoo’s Calling, keep your fingers peeled we may be on to showing the Dr Foster one next week and the upcoming Strictly will now be pushed back to the second week of September due to the X Factor.
Thank you
Yeah first clip went up tonight
Excellent but I will see it before eastenders tonight on BBC One
Strike on Sunday so think Dr foster will be after trust me
I’d think so eventually as the BBC Press Centre haven’t confirmed it on week 36, well it could be…
Cos I’ve seen a few trailers of it already before Casualty came on last night and EastEnders on Friday night…
So i’d have been said it was ‘coming soon’ on BBC One as with Phil Vowels and that new announcer will confirm it and last time it was aired on Wednesday evenings due to the 12th series of New Tricks which filled up the gap.
Dr Foster would be on after Trust Me on the following Tuesday, it will make it the fifth drama to be aired in five months and having said about next week’s TV magazines in this Tuesday’s, it will probably feature it with Safe House and Cold Feet and X Factor from ITV.
As the provisional schedules will be confirmed this time tomorrow for week 36 and at least the BBC will show the same trailer every day now…
FOX UK has secured the linear broadcast rights to LUCIFER, the DC Comics drama. Season One will start on Thursday August 31st at 9pm.
Source: http://www.tvwise.co.uk/2017/08/fox-uk-acquires-linear-rights-dc-drama-lucifer/
People… Please check the stories on the home page before posting… 😉 We posted that this morning 🙂

Sorry Dave, I assumed (wrongly) that it was a new update when I didn’t see it under August’s listings.
Maybe I shouldn’t be asking this… but does anyone know if the new version of the animated series Ducktales has got a uk broadcast yet??
You’re not the first to ask. 😉 It’s coming in Early 2018. I know… frustrating… Not sure on the logic behind that given it’s a Disney show, and we have a Disney XD channel, so why they aren’t airing it along with the US, I have no idea.
Thanks Dave!! Really appreciate the reply. I feel a bit embarrassed for asking about a cartoon. But I have really fond memories of the original. Would I be asking too much if you could add to the list of upcoming tv shows so I can keep track of it.?? Many thanks.
You’re not the only adult looking forward to it, don’t worry. 😉 It does have a page already, it’s just not showing in the list yet, as it’s Early 2018. https://www.geektown.co.uk/tvairdates/ducktales/ 🙂
They have changed the time for Strike: The Cuckoo’s Calling on BBC One at 9.05pm on the 27th of August 2017 due to the Diana: 7 Days documentary

Netflix are now showing Gotham from 1st September.
http://www.denofgeek.com/uk/tv/gotham/51371/gotham-netflix-uk-announces-season-3-release
Yep… We posted that the day before they did… 😉 https://www.geektown.co.uk/2017/08/14/gotham-season-3-comes-netflix-uk-september/
Taskmaster series 5 starts on the 12th September on Dave.
Confirmed by Aisling Bea on her Instagram page.
According to this week’s TV Times in the next magazine out next Tuesday we now confirm that Victoria Series 2 will be on ITV from the 27th of August 2017 at 9pm.
Also Rellik on BBC One has been confirmed for the 11th of September 2017 at 9pm and Liar on ITV on the 11th of September 2017 at 9pm.
No date on Doctor Foster or Strictly Come Dancing yet, it’ll will be soon though.
Gotham Season 3 will be airing on Netflix UK From Friday 1st September 2017.
Info from Netflix UK & Ireland Official Facebook Fan Page.
Gotham will no longet be airing on channel 5.
I can’t bloody believe it! So pissed off! After having rights to season 3 for almost a year and NOT showing it Ch5 have dropped Gotham altogether and now i have to pay Netflix to watch it when previous it was FTA. Someone at Ch5 needs to get bloody fired! What a fiasco! I’d love to know the behind the scenes on what the hell was going on over at Ch5. So furious! Thanks very much Ch5!
Just get the 30 day free trial and binge watch it?
They still have the rights. I contacted them yesterday and received the following response:
‘Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding Gotham.
We can confirm that we have the broadcast rights to Season 3 but no transmission dates at present.
Thank you for your interest in Channel 5.’
Yeah, that’s what they’ve been saying all along. There is apparently some issue that’s stopping them from airing it, which obviously they aren’t happy about either, as it makes C5 look ridiculous (although you could argue they should probably have done a better deal in the first place.) They last said they were *hoping* to air Gotham on 5 in the Autumn, but they couldn’t say for sure.
Not sure if it’s classed as a 48 Hours spin-off (there was a 48 Hours show in the US several years ago sub-titled Hard Evidence), but starting on FOX (UK) next Sunday night at 9 pm (Sunday 20th August) is 48 Hours: NCIS.
Is there going to be a third series of UK series The Coroner on BBC One? Alibi are currently showing the first series on Tuesday nights.
Just after the 2nd series of The Coroner finished on BBC it announced that they weren’t going to do a 3rd series. Disappointed as I really enjoyed it.
The Coroner was cancelled after season 2
Have Channel 5 still got the UK TV rights to the series Channel Zero? The second season (sub-titled The No-End House) is apparently starting in the US this autumn.
No I don’t think they have as the first second and I think the third season are all on Amazon Video as I brought off there as my sky box crashed and lost all recodings
Hi guys, love your site. Is there any word when Chicago Med is coming back, thanks.
Not sure yet when Season 3 of Chicago Med will be starting on Universal Channel UK, as a few weeks ago it seemed it wouldn’t be starting on NBC in the US until early next year. But when I checked the show’s EpGuides.com’s page recently, it now says Season 3 is starting in the US in November. But that could be subject to change.
Law & Order: SVU season 19a should be starting on NBC in the US in late September, so that (based on the last few years) should start on Universal Channel UK in October.
If the US start date in November dosen’t change, I’m hoping it starts on Universal Channel UK not long after, or in January.
Thanks richard 🙂
Does anybody know if the new DuckTales has been picked up for UK broadcast anywhere?
I Believe that Disney Channel are airing it from January 2018
There are 4 little snippets available to download from Disney Channel certainly on a Sky Box. I believe the last one was also shown on Disney Channel on Sunday 13th August around 9am.
Just to let you know The Last Ship Season 4 returns on Sky1 on Sunday August 27th , according to their trailer , no time slot though .
Does anyone know when the.BBC are going to broadcast episodes 5&6 of Peter kays car share season 2. Thanks
Season 2 only consisted of 4 episodes and Peter Kay says they were the last ones and there won’t be a season 3
Just came across by accident that cleverman season two is now available in full on iplayer/bbc3
According to the latest issue of SFX Channel 4 are going to be showing Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams sometime in September.
Another one confirmed from another source. McMafia – BBC One – 25th February – 15th April 2018 as its inaccurate subject to change at the moment. As with Strike – The Silkworm being confirmed on BBC One for this September.
Oops my bad Season 13 of Supernatural has already been shown, but Season 14 will be shown on E4 this coming January 2018, the CW in the U.S. confirmed it will be the final season months ago, as not confirmed it won’t be the end, the actor Jensen Ackles who plays Dean Winchester said confirmed this it will be the next milestone, the 300th episode and not where the show would end.
So Season 14 is not officially the end, at least not yet. We would’ve had this as Empire’s replacement for the autumn of 2017, instead we’ll it be in January 2018.
I’m hoping they up it to Autumn too, but that will partly depend on the number of breaks the US has in the schedule between now and Christmas. E4 are usually okay splitting a show into 2 halves, but are usually reluctant to do it if they have to skip random weeks. We’ll see though. 🙂
Don’t know where I got information then I read there will be 20 seasons
Just to confirm this from another source today hoping these as inaccurate subject to change
23 September – 29 October The Last Post – BBC One
5,6,7 Nov – Gunpowder – BBC One
12 Nov – The Woman In White – BBC One
Jan 2018 – Supernatural season 13 – E4 – could be possible
12 Jan 2018 – Strike: Career of Evil – BBC One
21 Jan 2018 – Howard’s End – BBC One
No news on the Doctor Foster series two, Victoria series two, and already Strictly Come Dancing series 14 will be on BBC One this September.
Victoria is scheduled to air in the Autumn for a second series with a Christmas episode. Hopefully we will find out a date in the next few weeks
Did you get these from the ratings thread on Gallifrey Base, because if so these, along with the McMafia one, are just predictions. I should know as I made them.
I’ve left a question on the page but next to Empire, it says that the show will be airing on 5Star instead of E4. Is that a mistake or are they actually moving the show to another channel?
Its true digitalspy confirmed it the other day.
Thanks. Does anyone know why the show is moving? Is it to make room for new shows on E4 or is it because the show isn’t doing well?
There was a rumour that E4 were going to pick up The Big Bang Theory spin off Young Sheldon, Will & Grace revival and Roseanne rivival so that could be a reason why E4 have drop empire.
All 3 of those seem possible for E4 (or even Channel 4 for Will & Grace and Roseanne), and dropping Empire should free up some budget. Still not actual confirmation on any of those shows yet though.
Ok thanks for letting me know. I’ll keep an eye out for the shows return date
Apparently new episodes of American dad! Start tonight on Fox UK
Humm… I’ve not caught up with this season of American Dad. It’s still Season 13, which started earlier in the year, and was running in that time slot last week too…
Just to announce that Rellik will be starting on BBC One on Monday September 11th at 9pm
also Liar on ITV at 9pm on Monday 11th September. This means that Cold Feet was moved over to the first week of September!

Info from Netflix UK & Ireland Official Facebook page.
Also X Factor confirmed for Saturday 2nd September on ITV
Bad news Cold Feet has moved to 9pm on Friday September 8th on ITV because of the autumn drama clash between rellik on bbc one and liar on itv at 9pm at the same time on Monday 11th september
Any News on Mr Mercedes being picked up in the UK?
Nothing yet unfortunately… I’m somewhat surprised, given the cast!
My spidey sense thinks this may go to Amazon Prime or Netflix, more so the former as they have picked up a few shows from that US broadcaster.
Will keep my eye on your pages for any news
Loved the book and really good reviews for the tv show. Hoping it comes to sky, terrestrial or Amazon, as I don’t have Netflix and don’t want to get it currently…
Scorpion. Supernatural and 100 will they be back this year or 2018
‘Scorpion’ usually airs in the Autumn on ITV2, but no official date yet. ‘The 100’ seems to be premiering mid-season now in the US, so that will definitely be next year. ‘Supernatural’ does start in the US in the Autumn, but has a ridiculous number of random breaks in it’s US schedule, so E4 will probably hold it till the new year. Again, not officially confirmed yet though.

Any news on HBO’s “Room 104” coming to a UK channel/streamer?
Valkyrien – Walter Presents/Channel 4 13th August.
Any news on Gotham season 3?
Murder in the First season 3?
Last Man on Earth season 3?
2 Broke Girls season 6?
The Strain season 4?
Hi John, The Strain might not be back on W.
W have dropped the final season of The Strain, just like they did with Being Human USA, so as it stands we have no UK showing, linear or otherwise. (I see a worrying trend at W, which puts me off investing time watching any new series that are on there in future, if they are going to drop them just before the end.)
Of all the shitty things to do W drops The Strain for its final season! Come on, that’s so unfair. Who’s going to pick it up now???
Why is no one in the UK picked up the strain season 4 how am I going to find out what happens, you can buy from us App Store and Amazon us but not uk absolutely gutted
Cant say I saw it listed for June but Hostages season 2 is on Netflix, season 1 was on BBC 4 a couple of years ago.
Gotham season 3 on dvd and bluray in 3 weeks on amazon
Gotham season 3 – https://www.geektown.co.uk/2017/08/07/official-gotham-season-3-will-premiere-uk-dvdblu-ray-28th-august-2017/
Murder in the First season 3 – No news yet from Fox.
Last Man on Earth season 3 – There were some contractual issues with it last we heard, but given UKTV has been dropping it’s US content, I wouldn’t hold my breath.
2 Broke Girls season 6 – Still waiting on E4.
The Strain season 4 – Not coming to W, and no new channel/service has picked it up yet…
murder in the first was cancelled after series 2 no series 3
Season 3 Gotham, netflix 1st September.
Beginning to think we are not going to ever get Gotham.
Also 2 other shows that may have been ditched are:
2 Broke Girls by E4
Murder in The First by FOX
Also Love/Hate by Channel 5/Spike
Masterchef Australia Season 9 – W channel’s website indicates that the series will run weeknights starting Monday 14th August at 8pm. https://w.uktv.co.uk/shows/masterchef-australia/

Any news on when or if pick will air season 2 of Elementary?

The Originals Season 4 is now on Netflix Uk
Tin Star – Sky Atlantic – all episodes Sept 7th (via Sky advert)
Netflix picks up Global rights Syfy’s new supernatural Drama Superstition.
Info from Deadline.com
Hi, do you know if any channel has picked up freeforms ‘The Bold Type’?
There was an ad for Tin Star during the early hours screening of Twin Peaks. All episodes are going to be available from September 7th, so I’d guess Sky Atlantic will be screening the first episode that date.
Just had a quick Google and found confirmation here: https://www.sky.com/watch/channel/sky-atlantic/tin-star
Just to advise Murdoch Mysteries Series 7 is returning to Drama on Saturday 5th August 20:00
Is there any news as to whether there will be another season of BattleBots?
With Curb Your Enthusiasm confirmed for later this year, do you think sky atlantic will show it around the same time? They are normally pretty good with the HBO stuff?
I’m just wondering if the long comment I just typed simply vanished into the ether? It might just be waiting approval as I included a couple of links but I used to get some kind of onscreen notification when that happened and I didn’t see anything this time.
A few notable things I can’t see listed – or in the recent comments – probably mostly foreign dramas.
1993 – the Italian political drama that’s a follow up to 1992 started on Sky Atlantic last Sunday night. 1992 actually aired on Sky Arts so this seems like a “promotion” but ironically they then seem to have given the show itself zero publicity… Not on Sky Box Sets straight away like their other recent subtitled imports (Midnight Sun & Public Enemy) which is a shame.
Only a Freeview premiere so not for the list but a few people were asking about Castle on 5USA and the final season starts this Wednesday at 9.00pm.
A series I enjoyed a lot last year – Cleverman – is back for a second season on the iplayer on Friday. All 6 episodes at once – yay! http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p059b2pq
A few other streaming shows on Friday too: Wet Hot American: 10 years later on Netflix, Dead Beautiful – a crime drama with Thierry Godard (Spiral) on Walter Presents & a comedy on Amazon called Comrade Detective which is set in 1980s Bucharest and has American voices dubbing Romanian actors. It’s meant to be a spoof of dubbed shows from years gone by. http://deadline.com/2017/07/comrade-detective-trailer-channing-tatum-joseph-gordon-levitt-amazon-series-1202136921/
Valkyrien – 13 August – Walter Presents. Acclaimed Norwegian thriller. First episode only on Channel 4. http://www.crimefictionlover.com/2017/07/norways-valkyrien-comes-to-walter-presents/
Club de Cuervos – Season 3 – 29 September – Netflix. Source – official facebook page.
Suburra – Season 1 – 6 October – Netflix. Source – official trailer from Netflix.
Season 3 Episode 1 of Rick & Morty is now streaming on Netflix UK From Today 29th July 2017.
