Couple of Notes on Commenting…

TIPS FOR POSTING It is always extremely helpful when people post dates, times and information below. It is useful in keeping the list as current as possible and makes for a great community spirit. But when posting, please remember the following:

1) Use full programme titles. As instantly recognisable as abbreviations may be to someone who watches that show, to someone who doesn’t, it is just a meaningless collection of letters that have to be looked up.

2) If a bit of information is a rumour, please say so – we can list it as such, pending confirmation

3) If something comes from a reputable source, please quote that source, so we all know it is not just a rumour.

Thank you.

  1. Jaco Moss says:

5USA has picked the free to air nights to NBC Hannibal – Season 1 will air in May

    Info From TV Wise

  2. Selina Roe says:

I did post a comment previously I’m not sure it sent though as your site crashed, so I’ll just say I’m wondering whether supernatural is going to show at all on E4 as it seems really late and still no sign of a start date, I’m happy to see Gotham has a date although sadly the last series

  3. Jaco Moss says:

NCIS New Orleans Season 5 will premiere on FOX UK on Friday June 21st at 9pm

Plus ABC has RenewedBlack-ish for a 6th season and hands out series order to spin off Mixed-ish

    Info from TV Wise

  4. Shane says:

Is iZombie definitely today? As of right now, 10:09am, there’s no sign of it on Netflix. Usually updates around 9am so should be there by now?

  5. Andrew says:

Has the latest season of Criminal Minds (on Fox UK) ended?

    • Jon says:

Andrew, Criminal Minds was not on Fox UK. It was on Sky Witness. Season 14 has ended. Season 15 is going to be a shorter season and the last season of the show. Criminal Minds will not be back for a 16th season.

      • mewdar says:

I had only just started to watch this series from season 1 recently as they were all available on NowTV, but these are due to end tonight I am hoping to get to the end of season 2 first, but to say I am gutted is an understatement………..really been enjoying them.

        • Jon says:

          mewdar, Criminal Minds…

Seasons 1-13 expire from Sky Box Sets on June 02, 2019

You’ll have to either wait for season 14 or keep an eye out for a rerun of season 14. Season 15 is the final season.

I would expect this date to be the same on NowTV as Sky satellite.

  6. Martin Stewart says:

Has the Brockmire S3 premier date been changed?
It was reported as 16th May but has been on Virgin’s EPG for a few days as starting Tuesday 7th May at 11.30.
This now appears to be confirmed by Fox UK TV’s schedule page on their website.

  7. Alan Wood says:

Bletchley Circle San Francisco hasn’t reappeared. You listed it as starting last week. Any update?

    • Paul Dormer says:

Don’t know if it was actually on last week – the Radio Times had it listed – but there is an episode in the Sky EPG this Friday.

      • Jon says:

The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco episodes 1-4 were previously broadcast and on the April 17 episodes 1-2 was rerun and on April 24, episodes 3 & 4 were rerun. Episode 5 is on Friday May 3rd at 9:00pm. This is the return from hiatus.

        • Paul Dormer says:

The Sky EPG is listing that as episodes 6, with episode 5 on tomorrow night at 23:45.

          • MartyM says:

Yes, as Jon says, it’s seems rather than being Season 2, this is the second half of season 1. New episodes start on Friday. I can’t see any sign that it has been renewed for a second season.

            https://www.radiotimes.com/news/tv/2019-04-26/when-is-the-bletchley-circle-san-francisco-on-tv-whos-in-the-cast-is-it-a-spin-off/

            • Paul Dormer says:

I don’t actually watch the show but people who want to see it might want some clarification.

That link says the part 2 starts on both 26th April and 3rd May. Both can’t be correct.

It would seem that episode 5, Not Cricket is the first episode of part 2. Both the Sky EPG and the Radio Times listings say that episode is on tomorrow night at 23:45, and last week’s Radio Times says that episode was shown 26th April. Sky is even saying that episode is available for download.

So, was that episode shown last week? Or are the listings wrong and it’s being shown for the first time this week?

    • Martin Stewart says:

Episode 5 was on last Friday and is repeated tonight. It’s also been on ITV Hub since Saturday
Episode 6 is on tomorrow (Friday)

  8. Piers says:

It looks like Cardinal Season 3 is coming to BBC 4 next week, presumably the Saturday night slot currently occupied by Follow The Money. Radio Times doesn’t go that far yet but there’s a basic entry on onthebox.com. BBC 4 is showing a trailer here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p075zjnj

  9. John d says:

Does anyone know when mkr airs in the uk and what channel

  10. Kieran says:

Does anyone know why ITV2 skipped showing Episode 16 of Family Guy. The episode was due to air tonight but they aired episode 17 and next week is episode 18

  11. Lee Patel says:

On My Block renewed for season 3 at Netflix.

  12. Jaco Moss says:

Next Week episode of Charmed will be at the later time of 11:25pm

From the latest issue of Radio Times

  13. Julian Peck says:

I have just read Roswell New Mexico is coming to Netflix from May 1st. Would that be Netflix in America? or everywhere?

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Netflix US only unfortunately at the moment. They have a deal were there air the CW shows soon after they broadcast on The CW. It is possible the UK may get it too, but that would be a separate deal. The May 1st announcement is for the US.

  14. Annette says:

Any idea if / when season 2 of Instinct and For the People are due to air in the Uk?

Also when Good Karma Hospital Series 3 will air

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Instinct doesn’t premiere in the US until June 16, so later than last year in the US. That means the UK could be late summer (it was Aug last year), or could be Autumn, depending on how long Sky decide to hold it.

For the People was late August last year, so will probably be around the same again this year, as the US schedule seems to be about the same.

Really not sure yet on Good Karma Hospital. I can’t see it at the moment in the ITV press listings, and it’s moved around a bit (S1 was in Feb 17, S2 was in Apr last year.) ITV only really drop dates a few weeks before broadcast though, so I would guess it could show up anytime in the next few months.

  15. According to ads that started running over the weekend What We Do In The Shadows is coming soon to BBC2 on Sunday nights.

  16. Jaco Moss says:

My5 has picked the UK rights to Being Mary Jane Finale which will air on Wednesday May 1st

    Info From TV Wise

  17. Cat says:

Killing Eve season 2 is already on BBC one started three weeks ago

    • Michael says:

It hasn’t started yet on BBC, Jodie comer was on the Graham Norton show last week and she said its coming soon

      • Jon says:

Killing Eve season 1 is being rebroadcast on BBC One.Saturday May 4th is S01E04. My guess is season 2 will be broadcast not long after the season 1 rerun is over. Season 2 is being broadcast on BBC America.

        • David says:

That timing.makes sense as S1 E8 would be broadcast 1 June and S2E8 would be due the next day in countries which are not waiting to allow the whole thing onto streaming.

      • Paul Dormer says:

But they are repeating season 1, which may be where the confusion lies.

        • Catherine says:

Was mistaken as it’s on season two in Ireland and BBC says they were showing the same episode number so for example episode 4 season two is on RTE and BBC would be showing episode 4 a day or two after but season 1. Odd as rte and BBC would be showing the same shows in general such as the fall or Mrs brown’s boys amday after each other.

  18. Lee Patel says:

Santa Clarita Diet cancelled after 3 seasons on Netflix

  19. Becky Evans says:

Is there an air date for the BBC adaptation of War of the Worlds yet?

  20. Richard O says:

Haven’t read anything about it being acquired by a UK channel, and can’t see a listing for it above, a Canadian series which started a few weeks ago, Hudson & Rex.

Read on Facebook this week that a third season of horror series Slasher is premiering on Netflix soon. The third season is sub-titled Solstice (I thought the second season was better than the first). Both the first and second seasons I think premiered in the UK on channel Pick.

A second season of anthology series Creeped Out started on UK channel CBBC this past Wednesday evening at 7 pm. It’s a mixture of horror, sci-fi and fantasy. There were 13 episodes in the first season (they’re available on catch-up On Demand on Sky). I think (but am not sure) the series is a co-Canadian/UK production.

Finally, Taken season 2 ended on 5USA recently (Thursday nights at 9 pm). It’s been replaced with NCIS: New Orleans repeats (they have started about a third into the season). I suspect Chicago P.D. season 6 will replace it eventually. Hopefully it starts in June. If it does, the season will finish around late October/early November (there are going to be 22 episodes in the sixth season, not including the 3 bonus crossover episodes).

  22. Gurminder Sidhu says:

Hi does anyone know when lucky man is back

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Hasn’t officially been renewed for a 4th season yet, so it’s not clear if it will be or not. If it is, there is usually around an 8 month gap between the announcement and the broadcast, so even if they announced tomorrow it probably wouldn’t air until early 2020.

      • Gurminder Sidhu says:

        Ok thanks dave

        • MartyM says:

I felt, having watched season 3, that the storyline was pretty much complete. I’m surprised that there is a question of another season. Although if the ratings were good enough I’m sure the writers will think of something.

    • Chris_ says:

Does anyone know if UK 5star still has the rights for the magicians series 4 and if so when it will air

  23. Mark says:

Am I missing something, I see that you’ve noted that iZombie season 5 is coming soon, but on the version of Netflix that I’m using I’m still waiting for season 3 to appear. Am I doing something wrong?

  24. Slick says:

Do you know if season 3 of Designated Survivor will be added to Netflix 1 episode per week as with the previous 2 seasons or in full now that is no longer being shown by Fox?

  25. Gurminder Sidhu says:

Sorry does anyone know if the passage will have another season

  26. According to the latest issue of Radio Times ITV2 ‘will be showing series four of Superstore in its entirety in the summer.’

  27. Edward Perkins says:

  36. Simon says:

Does anyone know why the BBC didn’t show episode 2 of Not Going Out and jumped straight to episode 3 instead?

    • Gurminder Sidhu says:

Hi simon i dont know but if you have a samsung phone download [REMOVED] and the second episode is on there to watch at your PERIL.

NOTE – please do not promote illegal streaming services

      • Simon says:

hi Gurminder.. thanks for that. I don’t have that phone unfortunately but I’ll wait I guess for it to be put up on iPlayer or regular BBC

        • Gurminder Sidhu says:

Simon i have some good news its a typo in the listings it is actually the second episode just gone this monday and the 3rd episode will be on 29th i double checked by watching it on [REMOVED]

          • Simon says:

Hi..No..I watched it. It was the third episode. Different story from the one listed for the second episode, and Sky still has the third episode as showing- again- next week

            • Gurminder Sidhu says:

Hi the second episode is set in a cottage weekend getaway 3rd one is about lees kids being taught sex education and lee not being happy about it

              • Simon says:

Hi, this is where I get confused. Sky listed ep 2 as the sex ed episode, then on Monday before broadcasting, it advertised it as ep 3 in the cottage.

                • Gurminder Sidhu says:

Sky listing is definetly wrong then but what i have told you is right 3rd episode will be on this voming monday

      • Gurminder Sidhu says:

Its an app i dont think it is illegal otherwise i wouldnt do it myself

        • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Unfortunately, apps such as that are borderline illegal… They let you stream TV shows and movies which they don’t own the rights for and they don’t pay for. It’s why you can’t download it directly from the app stores.

That also means the people producing the the content are not getting paid for it, unlike when it airs on a legit streaming service like Netflix or normal tv broadcaster. And when producers don’t get paid for the shows, that leads to show cancelations, which is why we discourage it.

          • Gurminder Sidhu says:

Ok dave thanks for explaining in detail and giving me the bigger picture i wasnt aware so it wont happen again my apologies once again but while i have got your attention do you know if the passage will be back for a second season

    • Jon says:

BBC made a mistake in the listing for Not Going Out. What they called S10E03 is really S10E02. On Sky if you download this episode from catch Up, it’s correctly labeled as S10E02.

  37. James says:

Riverdale, season 2, is back tonight, or early hours of the morning. 12:35am with a double bill, episodes 11 and 12 on 5star.

  38. Jay says:

So does anyone know why Sky Witness are taking there time to show F.B.I. Are they waiting for another show to finished to put in it there slot. It’s so frustrating because I really want to watch it.

  44. Jonathan says:

  46. Jaco Moss says:

  60. Cars says:

Will all the DC Superhero shows be back on Sky 1 and not be cancelled? There is word that NOW TV is not showing Supergirl or Flash.

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Supergirl, Flash & Legends are all renewed. Arrow is coming back for a final season and will end in December. Sky One hasn’t officially said if they are picking them up, but I can’t think of a reason they wouldn’t. They should also be on NOW TV if they’re on Sky One as Sky own both platforms.

The only thing I could possibly think of that may change that would be if they launched the DC Universe streaming service in the UK and DC somehow managed to get out of the Sky contract and moved everything onto that. But there has no news at all on DC Universe launching outside of the US right now, so that seems very unlikely at the moment.

  61. Jay says:

Is Netflix UK planning on adding season 1-3 of Lucifer or just season 4. Will make more sense if other people have not yet watched the show. Also is the whole season 4 being added or a weekly thing.

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

At the moment, seasons 1 to 3 are staying on Amazon Prime in the UK as they still hold the UK premiere rights. That may change when those rights run out, but we don’t know when that will be… Although, depends on what the deal was with Amazon, and whether they have first refusal to renew them, which they could decide to do just to spite Netflix ;). As Lucifer is now a Netflix Original, the entire 10 episode Season 4 will be added in one go as a box set.

    • Paul Dormer says:

For that matter, will season 4 come to Fox?

      • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

That is a little trickier, as Netflix now have the global rights to the show as a Netflix Original. Some Netflix Original shows have shown up on broadcast tv later (i.e. Orange Is The New Black had a tv broadcast I think) So it’s not impossible for it to come on to Fox UK at some point, but it will probably be a long wait.

        • Paul Dormer says:

          That’s about what I expected.

(Seasons 1 and 2 of Orange is the New Black have been on Sony/Sony Crime, still waiting for the rest. And they really messed up the timings on Sky, not realising that some of the episodes were longer then others, which led to truncated recordings.)

      • Jon says:

Not anytime soon. Fox does not have the rights to Lucifer. Amazon Prime has the rights. So if you don’t have Amazon Prime, you might not get to watch Lucifer season 4.

  78. Jayqui says:

What’s happening with Chicago PD? Don’t know why one UK broadcaster can’t buy all 3 of the franchise then at least then we may not get crossovers that make no sense because they’re out of order. Having said that Station 19 only recently aired the episode where Warren and Bailey broke up but that aired way back on Greys and they’re both Sky 1.
I don’t advocate finding episodes ‘another way’ but I can see why people do to avoid these things ruining their enjoyment of these shows.

    • Jon says:

What I’ve done with Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 is I’ve watched them such that they now are in sync. So while I have extra episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, I’ll eventually get to them.

    • Sam says:

Why is Blindspot on a 4 week break ? I worked it out that we are a week and a half behind the States were they have had a 2 week break so there for it should be a 2 week break in UK. Gotta wait now until 29th April. Boo!

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

My guess would be the US will have another break before the run ends, so rather than air 2 weeks then break again, they’ve bunched the breaks up into one block for the UK.

      • Martin says:

Really ? I will look at that later when I get home. Seems strange they’ve done that. That’s for the update.

          • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Yeah… I suspect that’ll change. It does say that on the Sky press listing too which is where the Virgin EPG gets it from too, but I think it will probably change.

I’ve put episodes 17 and 18 on record but it’s odd that they would do this. All they have done is put Criminal Minds repeats on for there 10pm slot. There’s no episodes after 18 according to Wikipedia so will that be it ? Can you keep us updated please Dave. Thanks.

        • Jon says:

This means that Blindspot will be shown in SD unless it’s going to be available on Catch Up in HD. I did find S04E17 on Sky 2 and was really disappointed.

        • Andrew says:

Searched on my Mums Virgin V6 box under upcoming episodes it only finds Blindspot season 4 episode 16 four times, doesn’t find 17 or 18 that your saying is on Sky 2. Also done a manual search via the EPG and can’t find any new episodes of Blindspot any where.

    • mewdar says:

yes I was gutted too when heard it…………..I hate all these mid season breaks really winds me up.

      • Paul Dormer says:

Conversely, I was speaking to an American friend a few years ago and she couldn’t understand why UK channels would show a season without breaks. Apparently, during the breaks the US networks repeat episodes from earlier in the season, allowing people who’d missed episodes to catch up.

  97. Toby says:

Fear the walking dead is not on amazon today. Any clarity??

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Yes, sorry about that. The list and post have been updated, but you maybe seeing a cached version. It was on Amazon Prime this morning… briefly… They then reset it back to being an Amazon Video pay-per-episode show again… I’m guessing someone at Amazon put it onto Prime before it was meant to be and then corrected the error. It will come on to Prime, we just don’t know when yet.

For Irish people Killing Eve season 2 will air 3 days after the States on RTÉ 2 starting on Wednesday April 10th at 21:35

    Info from entertainment.ie

  99. Jeff Davison says:

I have same frustrations regards the 2 hr Timeless special. It was shown in the States prior to Chridtmas to great reviews. Getting sense out of E4 (C4) is like delivering Brexit, challenging! It’s not even in their system to set up a notification. Don’t bet on it being available any time soon. C4 are nearly as bad as SyFy for chopping shows. One day, like Brexit, the powers that be might just get it and deliver what we the people want!!!!

  103. Charles Comiskey says:

Anyone have news on Gomorrah Season 4 on Sky Atlantic? Just saw that it has started in Italy.

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

It is coming, but they haven’t scheduled it yet. I think they usually air it after it finishes in Italy. Assuming S4 is 12 episodes again, that probably puts it in June/July at the earliest.

  104. Simon Ramsay says:

Whoever posted the Arrow spoiler: Idiot.

  105. Claire Greenhead says:

Does anyone have any news on ‘Will & Grace’ at all? I find the lack of info from Channel 5 slightly worrying. I think there are only two
more episodes left to show in the series in the U.S., and it hasn’t even started here yet!

  106. Jay says:

Is it just me or does anyone think the 2 hour finale special of Timeless will show up on Netflix sooner than on E4. With it being a 2 hour special it’s not that hard to show it by now. Same with Gotham. It’s the last season so would make more sense if it was on now rather than later. I don’t mind waiting for it to be on Netflix.

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

E4 do have it, and it is apparently, as of the time of writing this message, “coming soon” (although don’t be too shocked if it gets bumped back again!) I am still badgering them on dates for Gotham, Supernatural… The 100… Agents Of Shield…

      • Jay says:

By the time E4 show Gotham and to it finishing it’ll be on Netflix. As for A.O.S I’m not holding my breathe. Bet we get it next year when it’s finished in the states.

  107. Jaco Moss says:

FOX UK has dropped the UK rights to Australian Drama series Jack Irish, they will not be airing season 2 which air in Australia last summer.

    Info From TV Wise

  108. Jayqui says:

Is it guaranteed that Supernatural S14 will be aired on E4? I’ve searched on their website and the show isn’t mentioned. Given that S15 will be the last it’ll so annoying if there’s no UK broadcaster for these final two seasons. No idea how I’ve managed to avoid spoilers considering S14 has finished airing in the US.

  109. Mike says:

Fresh off the boat seems to have vanished again. On my V6 box it’s only showing until Monday and then is replaced by something called Celebson the Ranch. Any ideas what’s going on, especially as you have season 4 down to start next Friday but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore?

    • Eloise says:

I’ve got the same problem. I wish they’d stop messing around with it.

      • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Drunk scheduling from the alcoholic scheduling team at Channel 5 again… 😉 I’d not sure what’s going on with it, but you are correct, Season 4 is no longer starting on the 5th April. Technically, it’s no longer a UK premiere on 5Star as Fresh Off The Boat Seasons 3 and 4 are already on Amazon Prime UK. We’re only really still trying to track it on here on 5Star as people keep asking about it, but they don’t make it easy!

  110. Jaco Moss says:

Alibi has picked up the UK rights to New Zealand Drama The Bad Seed and have set a May premiere date.

  111. Barbara Balfour says:

Does anyone know when the Reboot of “The Nanny” will be shown?

  112. Richard O says:

Sky’s TV listings did mention that a recent episode of Arrow on Sky One was the 150th episode, and that an episode of Hawaii Five-0 from several weeks ago was the 200th episode. However, nothing is in the listings information for this Friday night’s new episode of Chicago Fire on Sky Witness, that says it’s the show’s 150th episode.

Will Charmed reboot episode 10 return on E4 channel? What happened?

    • Paul Dormer says:

This was already discussed a couple of weeks ago. Basically, it took a Christmas break in the US followed by breaks in February. As E4 was running two months behind the US showing, they seem to be waiting for the US lead to build up again.

    • Rory says:

Season 7 hasn’t aired yet in Australia. It’s been renewed for 20 more episodes after that which will be broadcast in Australia in 2020 and 2021. As to when they’ll land here… who knows… It’s Channel 5, so it very much depends if they decide to pick it up again…

  134. DC says:

Yo Dave Any chance Netflix will pick up Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, have you heard anything ?

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Haven’t heard anything yet, but that’s not unusual for Netflix UK. They only really send out big press releases for their original shows and big things they have picked up globally outside the US (like Star Trek: Discovery). We often don’t find out about these sort of shows until their monthly press email which has the upcoming shows on it, and even then, it’s not usually complete. Sometimes, things randomly pop up one day on Netflix too… I’ll let you know if I hear anything. 🙂

  139. stephen hayward says:

anyone know when the next season of agents if shield is going to show up and on what channel

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Yes, it’ll be on E4, probably in the Summer/Autumn, although it could be before then. It’s later in the US this year, as it’s fewer episodes (13 rather than 22) so doesn’t start until May over there.

  140. Jon says:

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is on hiatus until April 3rd.
The Resident is on hiatus until April 18th.

This comes from Universal TV UK’s Twitter feed,

  141. Chloe says:

What’s happening with season 5 of how to get away with murder. Sky was advertising it at the beginning of the year and now there’s nothing.

  142. Elle says:

Hello, I was wondering if there is any news about when Happy! S2 will be arriving on Netflix. Thank you

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

Unclear at the moment. It was about 4 months after the US last time, but that could be because Netflix didn’t pick it up until after it had already aired in the US. So, Season 2 will either it’ll air next day after the US, in which case it’ll be end March, or it could be they wait until it finishes its run so they can drop it on as a boxset, in which case, it’ll be 2 to 4 months afterwards, putting it around Summer.

  143. Richard O says:

Regarding season 20 of Midsomer Murders, ITV are only showing the first two episodes. The other four episodes in the season are going to be shown later this year. So the listing above in the A-Z of TV Shows section needs to state “Season 20a”.

  144. Richard O says:

The first episode of Proven Innocent premieres at 2 am next Monday (18th March) on Universal TV.
