Sky Witness Sets August UK Premiere Date For ‘Instinct’ Season 2
Season 2 of crime dramedy ‘Instinct‘ will return to the UK this August Sky Witness has announced.
The series stars Alan Cumming (‘The Good Wife’, ‘Web Therapy’, ‘The X-Men’) as a former CIA operative who is lured back to his old life when the NYPD needs his help to stop a serial killer. Dr. Dylan Reinhart (Cumming) is a gifted author and university professor living a quiet life teaching psychopathic behaviour to packed classes of adoring students. But when tenacious top NYPD detective Lizzie Needham (Bojana Novakovic – ‘Shameless US’) appeals to him to help her catch a serial murderer who is using Dylan’s first book as a tutorial, Dylan is compelled by the case and comes out of retirement.
AS we head into Season 2, Reinhart has been put on leave by the NYPD, but joins forces with Needham once again when a “Sleeping Beauty Killer” terrorises the city. But while Dylan feels re-energised being back at work, his husband Andy is less enthused – especially since they’re trying to become parents. But first things first, Dylan and Lizzie are called to investigate the murder of a successful businesswoman whose mission was to extend the human lifespan.
The dramedy is an adaptation of the novel ‘Murder Games’ from James Patterson (‘ZOO’) & Howard Roughan, which also stars Naveen Andrews (‘Lost’, ‘Sense8’), Sharon Leal (‘Supergirl’, ‘Dreamgirls’), and Daniel Ings (‘Lovesick’, ‘Black Mirror’).
