TV adaptation of Dundonian Neil Forsyth’s books and subsequent BBC Radio programme starring Dundonian Brian Cox and set in the fabulous Dundee suburb of Broughty Ferry (which in real life boasts Britain’s best ice cream), a beautiful former fishing village on the Tay estuary. The titular character, who does not particularly like people and doesn’t know much about politics, stands as an independent in the local by-election, a move that could have comic ramifications for British politics.
Hard to say with a 2nd season when it’s going to air… Season 1 aired in the US in June 2011 and Jan 2012 in the UK. Suits season 2 is again airing June in the US, and it looks increasingly like Dave might keep it on ice until the new year

The re-return of Liz Lemon and gang… Season was held back due to Tina Fey’s pregnancy, and then put randomly on hold by Comedy Central.
The show has already been picked up for a total of 100 episodes, and the plan is to basically run solidly for the next 2 years – only breaking for holidays, sports events, and the other usual things that make the US schedule so erratic. They are saying it’ll work out about 45 episodes a year from Jan 2013. Not sure how that will be split that into ’seasons’, as it’ll basically be on every week!

So, E4 are playing ‘dance of the comedies’ on Thurs… From 31st of Jan they’re re-running Big Bang Theory Season 6 from the start at 8pm, to give it some breathing room as they’ve nearly caught up with the US. Then it’s looking like HIMYM is replacing Big Bang in the 8.30pm, followed by The New Normal at 9pm, and 2 Broke Girls re-starting from the beginning of season 2 at 9.30pm.

Season 5 aired in America in Sept 2012, and this UK broadcast is currently a guess based on the UK date last year.
Those ad men of Madison Avenue return for a 6th season on Sky Atlantic. Airs April in the US, and Sky are saying ‘Spring’, so it looks like they’re planning to run it close to the US air date. Also, season 6 is confirmed as the penultimate season, so the ad men of Madison Ave will finish with season 7.
Big Bang finishes season 2 part 1 on the 24th Jan, and E4 will start re-running the season from the start to put some space between the UK and US air dates as they’re almost caught up, so Season 6, part 2 should start on 4th April 2013 (unless they double up some episodes).
An American werewolf, an American ghost and an American vampire all live together in an American house in this American remake of the cult BBC Three series. Recently bought by Watch to air from April 2013.
Officially it is season 3, but technically it is season 1 as the first two seasons were called Kourtney and Khloe take Miami. Apparently all Kardashians start with a K, and this Florida-based version should not be confused with the “taking” of New York by the aforementioned Kim and Kourtney. Seemingly they are all daughters of OJ Simpson’s former lawyer and they do various reality television programmes.

Created by Rockne S. O’Bannon (the man behind seaQuest DSV, Farscape, and new series Cult), and starring Grant Bowler (Ugly Betty), Julie Benz (Angel, Dexter), Tony Curran (Vincent Van Gogh in Doctor Who), and Jaime Murray (Dexter, Spartacus, Warehouse 13, and Hustle.) Airs in April on SyFy in the USA and shortly afterwards on Syfy UK.
Mary McCormack is a US Marshal in the Witness Protection programme. Five seasons have now been aired in the US and the series is over. It is also being run from the beginning on Universal – starting April 9th at 9pm

Very hard to say when Rules of Engagement is likely to return as the 13 episode season 7 is airing as a mid-season replacement (that’s early 2013 usually) in the US, rather than its normal Autumn (aka Fall) slot.
