How We Picked The Shortlists

So, you may be looking at the list below thinking ‘why isn’t X TV Show/Movie on there?’… Obviously, we can’t have every show/movie/game released this year on the list, so we had to cut it down. This was done by the getting the Geektown staff to vote on a “long list” and make suggestions until the list was a more manageable, “shortlist”, size. I’m sure some of you will have opinions on our shortlists, so feel free to add your comments below on this page.

Competition Rules

The winners of the Annual Geektown Awards are determined by public votes cast on geektown.co.uk from shortlists selected by the Geektown staff.

Anyone can vote BUT to win the prize you:
Must be based in the UK (including Northern Ireland.)
Must be over the age of 12.

There will be 2 winners picked from valid entries using the form on this page – one for the main prize, and one for the runner-up prize.

The competition closed on 31st December 2018.
