CSI Ending / Cancelled
If you listed to this week’s Geektown Radio (you should, it’s awesome!), we ran down all the renewed and cancelled tv shows this season. One which we knew was cancelled, but would get some sort of send off was the daddy – CSI. After 15yrs/seasons the show that spawned a thousand shows is putting away it’s luminol and those little cotton buds on sticks they use to check for blood… playing it’s final hand… rolling the last dice… singing the last show tune… (okay, i’ll stop with the Vegas analogies now)… It’s ending.
The swan song will be in the form of a 2 hour movie, and will see the return of William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger from the original cast as Gil Grissom and Catherine Willows. Current CSI Vegas boss isn’t losing his job though, as he’s been drafted in to bolster the slightly lacklustre ratings of the only surviving CSI child, CSI: Cyber, opposite current lead Patricia Arquette.
