Orphan Black Season 5 Trailer, “Now We Fight!”
Orphan Black returns for a final season this June, and the Clone Club are looking to kick some ass!
BBC America have released the first full trailer for the clone based scifi drama, which sees the clone sisterhood stating “Now we fight!” Given everything they’ve been through recently, it’s no surprise they are looking for some payback…
From assassinations, detrimental illnesses, monitors and accidental murders to suburban drug fronts, kidnappings, male clones and biological warfare – there isn’t anything the group hasn’t experienced. But through it all, they’ve remained united in their love and mission to keep each other safe at all costs. They’ve sacrificed their families, the loves of their lives, and any true sense of normalcy, all for the chance to liberate themselves from forces much bigger than any one of them. This season, they must all fight for the family they’ve chosen, for a new future and ultimately, for freedom.
Tatiana Maslany’s phenomenal tour-de-force performance as Sarah, Alison, Cosima, Helena and Rachel, plus a number of others along the way, finally won her a (long overdue) Emmy last year. She so effortlessly slips between characters, you completely forget they are all the same actress. Supporting her epic role are Jordan Gavaris as Felix, Maria Doyle Kennedy as Siobhán, Kristian Bruun as Donnie and Kevin Hanchard as Art. Tip of the hat also goes to Ari Millen, who has the job of playing all the male clones in the show.
Orphan Black returns to BBC America on the 10th June, which means we should see it on Netflix UK from the 11th June 2017.
