  1. Sarah Jane Schofield says:

Do we know for sure whether or not season 9 will be broadcast in UK? I hope it will, but I can’t find anything anywhere about a start date, it’s already started in USA, and we normally get it about a month (maybe 6 weeks) later.

  2. laura says:

    when does season 9 start?

  3. Andrew says:

When will the rest of season 8 be shown on E4?

  4. Gavin Scott says:

    Hey guys
Any update on when we should expect Big Bang to resume with the latest episodes? Think we are something like 5 behind so should be alright for not having any random breaks now?

  5. Sarah says:

Why has The Big Bang Theory stopped again on E4 (Jan 29th) and next week is a repeat again!?

    • Dave Dave says:

Ah well if you listen to this week’s Geektown Radio podcast, I do explain it’s absence. 😉

      • Louise says:

And what is that explanation Dave ?

        • Dave Dave says:

Well I could be mean and say go and listen, but I don’t want to force people into listening if they don’t want to… 😉

Okay, it’s due to CBS altering the US schedule after the death of carol Ann Susi who played Howard’s mother. They wanted to honour her in the show, which meant rewriting and moving some of the episodes back. Obviously that was unexpected, so E4 had to stop airing whilst the US sorted it’s run out.

          • Louise says:

Ahh thank you for the information as me and my son were dissapointed to see that it was not on. Big Bang mega fans. ????

    • Louise says:

I am wondering the same thing right now.

  6. paula james says:

why has season 8 suddenly stopped after 8 episodes, with no announcement at all? Anyone know when the series will continue, or will it be another couple of months of endless repeats until we suddenly get thrown a few more new episodes??

  7. sarahlouise says:

Hiya…wat going on with season 10…!!!???

    • Andrew Andrew says:

Season 10 is likely to begin in the US in Autumn 2016. It’s too early to tell when it might air here. We might have a better idea once seasons 8 and 9 have been and gone

  8. Amy says:

Any ideas when season 8 will be aired in the UK?

  9. Kirsty says:

E4 are ridiculous 2 episodes and then a break. I’m going to watch episode 10 online. There is no way I’m waiting until April for ‘the kiss’

  10. NORMAN MCLEOD says:

your post re big banh theory series 7 part 2
    Latest/Next UK Premiere Date: 16 January 2014 at 8:30pm

it still not on—–when will it start please

    • Andrew Andrew says:

It started as above. Episode 8 aired at that time, with episode 9 a week after. It has gone on another break and will return in April with episode 10, but a date hasn’t been set

  11. Margaret Fitzgerald says:

Part 2 of season 7 started back on E4 in the uk but it hasn’t gone further than episode 8. It’s now showing season 7 from the beginning again? Do you know why?

    • Andrew Andrew says:

Season 7 has had 9 episodes so far, with episode 10 due soon. Seasons 5,6 and 7 are all currently being repeated. The reason for the additional break is probably related to the additional February break in the US broadcast

  12. J Red says:

April? It would be good if the E4 schedulers confirmed this second break and published a return date above. I would also enjoy an explanation for the break as episode 10 has been shown in the USA.

    • Andrew Andrew says:

The schedulers don’t follow what other countries do, except for the fact that with US shows, international markets almost always have to broadcast later

  13. Richard says:

Not really professional starting it then stopping it again!!
    Lets hope its April.

  14. A Person says:

Does anyone know what is wrong with E4 – ie why can’t they make up their minds about scheduling TBBT?? It drives me crazy that they put on 2 episodes of season 7 on the 16th and 23rd January and now it’s gone again with no mention of return. How can they do this with one of their highest rated shows?!?! Maddening.

  15. Dave says:

After just two episodes back BBT is now on a mid-mid season break until April!

  16. Nick says:

Jan 9th episodes have all ready been shown on e4 (rpts), the remaining unseen episodes of Season 7 will return 16th Jan.

  17. Cat says:

The Big Bang is due back on 9th January been advertised on E4

  18. Richard Philip Walton says:

Just watching season 4 again on dvd at the moment, can not wait for S7, for me its better than friends.

  19. Dan Bond says:

  20. Bob Allen says:
