It may still be 6 months away, but Marvel released the first official trailer for ‘Iron Man 3‘ last night, due to drop in cinemas in 26th April 2013. And it’s no rubbishy teaser little trailer either!
‘Iron Man 3‘ see Robert Downey Jr. return as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Gwyneth Paltrow as ‘Pepper’ Potts, Don Cheadle as ‘Rhodey’ / War Machine, and not forgetting Paul Bettany as the voice of JARVIS.
The villain duties this time round go to Sir Ben Kingsley as terrorist leader and Iron Man’s archenemy – Mandarin.
Other characters include Guy Pearce as Aldrich Killian and Rebecca Hall (The Prestige, The Town) as Dr. Maya Hansen, creators of the Extremis ‘super-soldier’ virus.
Although he’s handed directorial duties to Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), Jon Favreau will also be reprising his role as chauffeur Happy Hogan.
‘Iron Man 3‘ will kick off the 2nd round of Marvel movies, which are set to culminate in 2015’s The Avengers 2!
