Not to be confused with UK/French remake by The Sky/Canal+ of the original Danish/Swedish show… Or the failed Canada remake of the same tv show… This version of The Bridge is set on the border of the Texas and Mexico. Diane Kruger (Inglourious Basterds) stars as the US Detective Sonya Cross, with Demián Bichir (A Better Life, Che) playing her Mexican counterpart Detective Marco Ruiz.

When a body is found on the bridge that serves as a border crossing between El Paso, Texas and Juárez, Mexico, it’s up to the 2 police departments to work together and hunt down a serial killer that who’s causing mayhem in both countries.
