Even though it’s somewhat conspicuous by it’s absence on this years Comic Con schedule due to a scheduling clash, US’s SyFy channel has released this trailer for the new 12 Monkeys TV show based around Terry Gilliam’s epic 1995 movie Twelve Monkeys.
The show apparently takes the basic premise of the film – man sent back in time to stop a group of terrorists releasing a virus that destroys life as we know it – but is a ‘complete reimagining’ of the movie.
The show is set to premiere in the US in January 2015. No news on a UK air date yet, but we’ll keep you posted when we know something!
