MAX BEESLEY, TIM MCINNERNY & MICHELLE YEOH JOIN THE CAST OF STRIKE BACK

STRIKE BACK – NEW CAST

Today, Sky have announced that MAX BEESLEY (Suits, Mad Dogs, Hotel Babylon), TIM MCINNERNY (Spooks, Notting Hill, and of course Blackadder) and MICHELLE YEOH (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon) are joining the cast of Sky1’s action packed drama, STRIKE BACK. The 5th and final series has is currently shooting in Hungary with the series set to air on Sky 1 HD next year.

In her first ever role for television, YEOH plays the wife of the British Ambassador to Thailand with MCINNERNY playing her husband.  BEESLEY takes on the role of an ex-pat gangster.

Returning to lead the cast once again are SULLIVAN STAPLETON (300: Rise of An Empire), PHILIP WINCHESTER (24: Live Another Day, Camelot) and ROBSON GREEN (Mount Pleasant, Being Human), who reprise their on screen roles as counterterrorism operatives Sgt. Damien Scott and Sgt. Michael Stonebridge and Section 20 leader, Col. Philip Locke.

Also returning to the series is MICHELLE LUKES (Doctors, Alexander) as Sgt. Julia Richmond and MILAUNA JACKSON as DEA Special Agent Kim Martinez (Squad 85).

Behind the camera for season five Sky’s Cameron Roach will executive produce alongside Left Bank’s Andy Harries, series producers Michael Casey and Sharon Hughff, head of production Marigo Kehoe, co-executive producers Michael J Bassett and James Dormer. Strike Back is produced in association with HBO/Cinemax and Left Bank Pictures.

Max Beesley commented: “It is a pleasure to come and spend some time fighting it out with section 20 on Strike Back. The production values speak volumes and Sullivan and Phillip are guys I know and enjoy working with, along with the very talented Michelle Yeoh. The character Ray McQueen is an absolute gem to play. “
