It’s been a little while coming, but the fantastic Peaky Blinders is returning to BBC Two in May for a 3rd series,  and to celebrate that, a number of the stars will be heading to Birmingham for a red carpet event on Wednesday 4th May!

Taking place at The Everyman Cinema, Mailbox Birmingham, the event will see Cillian Murphy (Tommy Shelby), Paul Anderson (Arthur Shelby) and Packy Lee (Johnny Dogs), as well as the show’s producers and writer/creator and Birmingham born Steven Knight who will apparently arrive at the screening in ‘spectacular Peaky Blinders fashion’!… Colour us intrigued!

Fans are encouraged to get into the spirit of the series by dressing up for the occasion in Peaky Blinders’ style costumes with flat caps and 1920s attire. Details of how to register for tickets to the screening will be coming soon to the BBC Shows and Tours website.

Series three sees Tommy Shelby pulled into the glamorous and dangerous world of international intrigue in 1920s Britain, putting his entire organisation and family at risk, and forcing him to question everything about his own ambitions and desires.

Steven Knight says, “I’m thrilled that the new series of Peaky Blinders will be screened in its heartland, Birmingham, and I hope the people of the city will enjoy the event. The third series is stronger than ever.”

They did a similar event for the launch of the 2nd series which was excellent (check out our video here), so we will hopefully be there this time around to bring you all the coverage!
