Created by Anthony E. Zuicker and Exec Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, this crime procedural forever changed the landscape for TV crime shows and spawned a whole raft of spin-off shows. This first incarnation of the CSI franchise followed an elite team of police forensic evidence investigation experts in Las Vegas and ran for 15 seasons, with the final season available to buy on DVD from 25th April 2016

The final season sees Night Shift Supervisor D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) and the other members of the ‘grave shift’ at the Las Vegas crime lab – Julie Finlay (Elisabeth Shue), Nick Stokes (George Eads), Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) and Greg Sanders (Eric Szmanda) take on their final perplexing, impenetrable and mind-bending cases over 18 episodes where they confront the murderers, serial killers and kidnappers that inhabit the murky recesses of the fun-capital of the world, Las Vegas.
Also available to buy on DVD from 23rd May 2016, is the feature-length finale episode, which reunites the cast members – past and present – for one final investigation. Gill Grissom (William Petersen), Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) and Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) return to investigate an explosion in a casino.
Mixing deduction, gritty and very bold subject matter and character-driven drama, CSI shifted the focus from the cops and the lawyers and delved in to the world of the crime-fighters who use the physical evidence that the perpetrators leave behind to solve the case.
CSI forever changed the way crime shows were produced and stories were presented – spawning a phenomenally successful franchise, with spinoffs set in Miami, New York and, finally, in cyberspace with CSI Cyber, as well as a the next generation of crime dramas such as ‘Criminal Minds’ and ‘Bones’ in the US and ‘Silent Witness’ in the UK.

I have watched it ever since the very first episode came out, obviously a very young watcher at the time;) but I would love to relive the madness
It’s not down to me telling you why I win, it’s about you finding the evidence to prevent me winning.
I should win this because I don’t have any CSI DVDs or Who albums

After 15 years of watching CSI I’m thinking of stting my very own Forensic Science Degree…and this fab giveaway would be a great substitute for my diploma. ;) Although the gang never caught Dexter did they? …hehe!

Why do I want to win the CSI DVDs? Because I like red herrings and montages of hours of lab work condensed down to 30 seconds of screen time
