Doctor Who Gets A New Companion Tomorrow!

Who’s Next?
The BBC have announced that The Doctor’s new companion will be revealed tomorrow (Sat 23rd April), oddly, in the middle of Match of the Day… The new sidekick will be introduced during half time of the FA Cup semi-final between Everton and Manchester United, which should be around 6pm tomorrow.
There have been a number of suggested names for the new companion since Jenna Coleman left the show to become Queen Victoria for ITV, but there doesn’t seem to be any particular front-runner. All we do know is that current show-runner Steven Moffat has said it will be an entirely new character.
Names that have been suggested are Downton star Sophie McShera, Maze Runner/Skins star Kaya Scodelario, The Borgias Holliday Grainger, Rose Leslie from Game Of Thrones (‘you know nuffin Doctor!’) and Our Girl’s Michelle Keegan. If you were going to go for a male companion, Thomas Brodie-Sangster from Game Of Thrones has been suggested, and, as season 3 of Uncle will be it’s last, I’d also like to throw in Elliot Speller-Gillott who plays Errol on the show as a possibility.
These are all, or course, entirely speculative, you’ll just have to tune into BBC One at around 6pm tomorrow to find out!
