The Netflix drug drama NARCOS has been renewed for 2 more seasons it has been announced today.
The renewal comes just days after season 2 dropped on to the streaming service, which sees the conclusion of the Pablo Escobar storyline. José Padilha (Elite Squad, RoboCop) and Eric Newman (Children of Men) will continue to serve as executive producers, and are the current showrunners.
The first 2 seasons see DEA agents Javier Peña (Pedro Pascal) & Steve Murphy (Boyd Holbrook) trying to takedown notorious drug baron Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) and the Medellín Cartel.
It’s not clear which, if any, of the cast will return, but as you can see in the trailer above, it looks like the Cali Cartel will be the focus of the season 3. That means the series is still set in Colombia, so you could see some of the DEA cast returning.
You can find the first 2 seasons of NARCOS on Netflix right now.
