Sky Living Sets UK TV Air Date For Blindspot Season 2
In keeping with Blindspot‘s penchant for hiding tattoos on Jane Doe’s body, Sky Living posted the image above on it’s Facebook page with the message ‘Crack the code’… Not too hard a code to crack really, but it does mean we will see the drama return to our screens 17-11-16, i.e. 17th November 2016.
Season 1 of Blindspot saw FBI Special Agent Kurt Weller (Strike Back’s Sullivan Stapleton) get a call out to Times Square. There he is introduced to a young lady (Jaimie Alexander – Sif in the MCU) who has been dumped in a duffle bag, with no memory, and completely naked except that her body is covered in tattoos, including the agent’s name on emblazoned on her back! Adopting the name ‘Jane Doe’, the FBI team, with Jane’s help, set about unraveling the mystery of who she is, and why her body has been covered with puzzles relating to various crimes. Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza, Ashley Johnson, Ukweli Roach, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste also star, and the show was created by Stargate writer/producer Martin Gero.
Season 2 picks up 3 months after the events of season 1, that saw Jane being placed under arrest. “Jane has been at a black site for 3 months, Kurt is dealing with the discovery about his father killing Taylor, while the team feels betrayed,” comments show creator Greo. “Not only will we find out her name but also what Orion is and who Shepherd is, what the plan is and who the real Jane is.”
Blindspot became the Number 1 new drama of last season’s crop, and had viewers hooked with a great ‘twisty turny’ plot each week, uncovering more and more about Jane’s past.
Blindspot Season 2 will air on Sky Living, 17th November 2016
