Netflix Pick CW’s Frequency, Available Now!
It’s another sneak attack from Netflix! They announced just 1 hour ago that CW’s brand new show Frequency, which started airing on the US network last week, is now up on Netflix UK for your viewing pleasure!
Based on the 2000 film starring Dennis Quaid & Jim Caviezel, this ‘reimagining’ stars stars Peyton List (Mad Men, Tomorrow People) as Rami Sullivan, a police detective in 2016 discovers she is able to speak, via a ham radio, with her estranged father Frank (Riley Smith – Nashville, True Blood) who died in 1996. Rami & Frank (also a police detective) forge a new relationship while working together on an unresolved murder case, but unintended consequences of the ‘butterfly effect’ wreak havoc in the present day.
The show has been developed by Supernatural’s Jeremy Carver, who also co-developed the US version of Being Human.
Frequency has received a pretty positive reception from the critics, and you can see it for yourself right now on Netflix UK. If it’s not showing up for you, try restarting your app. For me it appeared initially on my phone but not my tv app, but believe me, it is there!
