Sky Living Set December Premiere Date For Elementary Season 5

Elementary stars Jonny Lee Miller as Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu as Joan Watson in a modern-day retelling of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous detective.
Last season saw the great John Noble join the cast as Sherlock’s father, Morland Holmes. In season 5, a serial bomber has become active again after being dormant for 6 years, leading Watson to seek help from Shinwell Johnson (Nelsan Ellis – True Blood), a former patient whose life she saved when she was a surgeon.
Shinwell is an original Conan Doyle character who appeared in ‘The Adventure of the Illustrious Client’, albeit one that’s obviously been altered to fit into the modernised reality. This version is an ex-con who is trying to walk the straight-and-narrow, and put his life together after a stint inside for drugs charges. The character is set to recur throughout the season.
