Uncle Returns For Final 3rd Season On BBC Three & BBC One In Jan

Andy & Errol are back for one final outing as Uncle returns to BBC Three on the 1st January 2017. This will be followed by a broadcast on the 6th January on BBC One at 11.25pm.

Uncle Series 3 continues the story of out-of-work musician Andy (Nick Helm), and his unlikely alliance with his teenage nephew Errol (Elliot Speller-Gillot) following their often misguided comedy adventures.

“Uncle is more than a show about an unconventional family unit,” comments Helm. “The whole production is like a family, from Ali producing and keeping everything ticking like clockwork, to Oli and Lilah who write and direct the show and music videos and Daisy and Elliot who, whilst playing my fake TV family, end up substituting my actual family for seven weeks a year. I’m really looking forward to seeing what the new series has got in store and getting the ‘Family’ back together again.”

When we re-join them for Series three, it’s eighteen months since Andy found out that he was going to be a father, and the baby he’s never met is haunting his nightmares. But is he ready to be a dad? And why do people count baby ages in months anyway?

If you listen to Geektown Radio, you will have heard our interview with writers Oli Refson & Lilah Vandenburgh, when season 2 was released. We also interviewed Lilah on her own when she headed to Hollywood to pen an episode of The Flash earlier this year.

Catch the 3rd and final season of Uncle when it drops on to BBC Three on the 1st January 2017, or on 6th January when it airs on BBC One at 11.25pm.
